Solution: My network was public instead of Private, I changed that, stop the Brother's Utility program from loading (already mentioned), and stopped a few others from loading at start up. Now Logos is working as it was before I updated the Brother's printer. Thanks for everyone's help GeorgeT

6406.Logos Log Files.zip I am sorry for wasting your time, I was in a hurry when I sent the last reply and forgot to hit the insert button on the log zip file, however I did send it this time. I disabled a Brother Printer utility and now it is loading much faster, 1min to 2+min, and is a little faster closing, but it sill takes 9-10min. to close Logos

Using the method to get the log files, Logos 7 opened immediately instead of the 10 it now takes the other way.

Last Thursday Logos took a longer time to load and a little longer to close than normal. After that each time I load and close the program it kept getting slower until and now on a second time loading it takes around six minutes to load, same time longer and about the same length of time to close. This is a blank layout, loading to a blank layout. My

I already own the older version of Learn to use Biblical Greek and Hebrew, and as far as I can tell it is the same program but updated for Logos 6. GeorgeT

In the layout that was causing the crashes, I had two occurrences of Explorer open, after closing one of them it quit crashing. Just in case you may run into the same problem. GeorgeT

It is in this particular Layout, because it is not doing it with other layouts.

NO, it still crashing after closing Info

I have found just going from pane to pane will cause the crash. I have tried it offline, rebooted my computer, etc., but to no avail, Logos crashes. It will usually crash within a 30 sec. of going from one book to another, faster if I just keep going from book to book until it crashes. As long as I stay in the same book and don't do anything else it

Just moving from one Bible (AV - KJV 1900) to another, Logos 6 crashes. If I stay with one chapter it doesn't crash, unless I change the chapter or passage, then it will crash. It seems the last update that fixed Mac crashes is causing my PC (Windows10) to crash. I have started it over seven times this morning ( now 9:30 AM). GeorgeT

Thanks for the quick response. The I repaired it in Control Panel and that fixed the problem. GeorgeT

I used Windows Powershell and VBA in Microsoft Office 2010 to open a particular Logos 6 layout, e.g., Word 2010 I can open my Sermon Layout, SS Layout, etc. Since the last logos 6 update none of them work with the following error: "Run time Error 429 ActiveX component can't create object". I get it in Word, PowerPoint, etc. (PowerShell opens a Dos window

Just a note it continue trying to sync after Logos is loaded. GeorgeT

This morning Logos is taking an extremely long time to load, I am at the eight minute mark and still not loaded. I have rebooted: the internet, my computer a few times and nothing helps. The only thing that helps is to stop the sync (It then loads immediately)! I did get it to load once this morning without skipping sync, but it took forever. Any thoughts

When I purchases Logos 6, there was the promises of many Interactive Resources + many of the new features would receive additions to them, but it seem that only if you have a subscription to Logos Now does one get added content. Am I Mistaken? GeorgeT

I had given up on using the Macro in PowerPoint 2010, but I canceled out a changefileopendirectory and I went back to having the Error after the Macro ran. After looking at you script and the "System.Cursor = wdCursorNormal 'Remove for PowerPoint" I change it to none active and now I can open all my Bibles with the Macro in PowerPoint. So it is opening

Anyone having problems today with Logos6 not syncing; and therefore, not loading? If it gets far enough a long I can click the skip button, and than logon offline or of course I can start the program with the control key for offline use. No I have not updated to Windows 10 I am still on 8.1. My android loaded it without a hitch. GeorgeT

Of course this morning is the first time in over a week that Logos, on start up, did not index. GeorgeT
