• Are Release Notes still available? ... and, a suggestion.

During the beta, Release Notes were issued with every new release but I do not see that happening now (or else those Notes are hiding from me). Personally, I like to keep track of, and know what's happening in each new release ... even the minor ones. Would it be possible for Bradley or someone in CS to publish those notes in a timely manner? Maybe
As one of the beta testers and someone who had an IT background I was and still am anti cloud. However it is a business decision that will allow Logos to save a good amount of resources on the Customer Service and Technical Support end of their model.. • Re: Will Logos run with Windows 7?

Off Topic (Hope you don't mind if I highjack your thread for just a second ...) I was trying to magnify Reynaldo's picture. Couldn't quite tell if he is holding his head in his hand because he is praying or whether it is a picture of software-installation-exasperation (and haven't we all been there before? ). Anyway, I used to use Vista, an MS mouse

  • Attn Logos Webmaster ... "Toady"?

When I go to the main webpage and type in "Toplady" and then hit enter, it automatically truncates to "Toady" and gives me a link to a misspelling of "today" in a webpage for a Jack Hayford book. I do not care about the misspelled word but I would like to be able to search Logos for anything by Augustus Toplady. Thanks.
Can anybody give me a good definition contrasting the two? I'm having a hard time deciphering the two..
Michael, Your question is good but it is very difficult in a sense because there are so many different flavors and definitions on the continuum. We can speak of Pelagianism, Semi-Pelagianism,Amyraldianism (aka

  • Another request/nudge for Gordon Clark

Walter Elwell lists a mere 33 theologians of significance in his Handbook of Evangelical Theologians ( http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/HBKEVTHL ). One of those is Dr. Gordon Haddon Clark. Of Clark, Ronald Nash writes, " Few have defended the cause of biblical Christianity in the twentieth century with as much skill and determination as did Gordon

Hmmmm. One of the things I check when I stumble on these "too good to be true" type of websites is the Contact Us link. If there is no clear and obvious address, email, phone number information, etc., then I conclude that they have something to hide. Here is the link for the Contact Us page - what do you think? http://www.septemberonfire.com/connect

  • Re: NICOT/NICNT- old and replacement volumes

I was pleased to see Dan Pritchett's comments regarding the switchover for current Pradis owners to Logos( http://community.logos.com/forums/t/2361.aspx ). I am also pleased to see that NICOT and NICOT is shipping soon. But all of this makes me wonder if we ever got an official answer from Dan or anyone else at Logos regarding the older, no-longer-published
Never had a large investment in Pradis, just a handful of titles. ...previous owners should be able to buy previously purchased works at production cost.
Mr. Golder makes some good points. I also agree with several things that Mr. Maashe says - especially his comment about the Pradis platform/resources becoming unusable

I have a fairly sizable investment in Z/Pradis. Since the cost and availability of converting my current titles over to Logos is up in the air, I am going to download and hang on to the latest Pradis engine update ... before it disappears... just in case I need it later on. http://www.zondervan.com/Cultures/en-US/Product/Software/PRADIS.htm?QueryStringSite

Just some quick observations re: Win7 and multiple cores: 1) I read somewhere that MS expects that more 64 bit installations will be made for Win7 than 32. Can't cite the source ... it was just an offhand comment in the article that I read. Nevertheless, I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be true. 2) I believe that the Win7 DVD for consumers

Ted, Regarding your comment about "which has good points on how to reconcile light being present before the creation of the sun on day four": Have you considered that the statement in Genesis 1:3 may not be speaking of literal light but that this statement is actually a theological declaration of primary importance? With all due respect to those who

Personally, I would rather that Bob P. using Adam Smith's "invisible hand" determine what gets published on Logos. I can then filter what does or does not load onto my computer.

JUST Testing / playing around / experimenting I much prefer the tree/thread format in the Newsgroups ... it makes following the various bunny trails easier, but this is workable. I certainly wouldn't want to have a meltdown over it and then have to be brought under control ... Sound clips, too .... Click here to play this audio clip
