Sorry, but this is a no-sale for me - not even close. The OP states, "... Rosling has demonstrated how creating a single database of UN data and applying powerful informational visualisation software can increase understanding quickly and even at a popular level ... I would love to see this applied to the Bible ..." My response is, How have we ever

Just a few quick thoughts ... I would like to know where a church landed on a set of continuums: Worship service style: Happy-Clappy and/or Huggy-Huggy <-----> Church is an entertainment venue with the minister acting as the Master of Ceremonies at the Church's Got Talent program every Sunday morning <-----> Careful exegesis/exposition of

FWIW: There are other ways to define 'essential' such as A1b (below) ... But if they intended to use it as "Absolutely indispensable or necessary" (A4), then they must be the only marketing group that has ever employed hyperbole/superlatives ... the sheer audacity of it all! Here is the way I run ngen: 1) When I run CMD I right click on the shortcut and select "Run as administrator" 2) My User Account Control settings are completely off which I believe eliminates the "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device prompt?" Depending on how your UAC settings are configured, you may or may not get the prompt

I don't know the criteria for content selection in FaithLife TV, but here are a couple of suggestions for Exodus documentary-style movies which I have found to be intriguing with highly plausible, archaeological evidence: 1) The Exodus Revealed 2) Patterns of Evidence Both are readily available on DVD or in Amazon Prime. • Re: Question for Marketing

I should have also pointed out that by using a tagging system, a single resource can be tagged multiple ways. For example, the single volume below will be listed as an individual commentary for each of the nine books from Hebrews to Revelation, i.e., it will be listed under CHebr, CJame, C1Pet, C2Pet, C1Joh, C2Joh, C3Joh, CJude, and CReve. I only point

  • Re: Question for Marketing

I use a Tag system to keep order. First letter, "C", indicates that it is a commentary (T for Theology, H for history, J for journal, etc.). Then, the next four letters (+/-) indicate the book. Library will then automatically show the commentary count - not to mention keeping them nicely sorted.

  • Re: What references would you use in a Systematic Theology? New post on theLAB by Rick Brannan.

It is an intriguing study that Brannan has performed. Hopefully, he will extend it to include biblical texts used in Systematic Theologies according to various theological traditions which can then be expressed as a percentage of the whole.
