  • Re: Who Teaches with Logos Open and Projected

I use it often in my advanced Greek class. I put the Greek text in one pane, and if a student cannot remember the definition of a word, I double-click it and BDAG pops up in another pane. It is also useful to track down grammar questions etc. when they come up.

  • Re: Loeb Classical Library - Complete Set?

A complete set would be 523 volumes, worth approximately $20,000 at new retail prices. Maybe half that for used. You can buy a subscription to the digital library for $150 for the first year and $65 for each year thereafter. It includes all texts from all volumes, searchable (but not downloadable).

  • Re: Changing Scrolling

Thanks. That works, but it is still not quite what I was hoping for. I would like to be able to scroll through a Biblical text a line or verse at a time with the mouse wheel and not have to click each time.

Jonathan, there are no such arrows for my NASB text. Any ideas?

I have the scrolling set to one line. Here is what I am still getting (note the top line of the center column NASB text half obscured):

I have a related question: is there a way to set Logos to scroll (using a mouse wheel) one verse at a time when viewing Bible text? Sometimes I want the first line of a verse at the top of the window (to trigger alignment with other resources), but it requires typing in the exact verse number and hitting Enter to do that. To be able to scroll with the

  • Crashes on Start Up

Hello all, Can someone lend a hand and help me troubleshoot this? I seem to be in this endless loop of crashing, restarting OS X, indexing, completing index, start Logos, crash, repeat. Thus far I have removed the LibraryIndex folder from Library/ApplicationSupport/Logos4/data/43812aek.ecd tried to index and restart Crash logs are attached. Thank you

Tim, You will probably want to follow the instructions above to download the debug script, but I know for me the issue was leftover resource files from older versions of Libronix software. After deleting that folder everything indexed and ran fine.

Tom Thanks for the heads up on the Libronix resources, that was the problem. I deleted the resource files from an older version of Logos, forced Logos 4 to index, and now everything is downloaded and working fine. Much thanks.

  • Library Downloaded by library is empty

Help! I have downloaded Logos 4 and it has run through the usual process (download, index, updates) but when I open it up, it shows my library as empty. I have deleted the data and reinstalled, still nothing. I have tried to force it to update, index and still nothing. I have attached my logs as well as some scree shots below. Thanks.
