It sounds like they haven't quite got their e-book strategy sorted out;
There were some net pages posted to or linked to awhile back indicating an exceedingly "large' turnover in the ebook staffing/supervisory department etc - I don't know if it was bottom line related or philosophical differences or "whatever"..

    Yes, please. I tried to explain this a couple of times in beta but have not been able to clearly describe it , I guess. (I even went through every sans serif font starting with "A' on my system and none would work, so I quit trying) "All" I would like to be able to do in L4 is to have "any" Sans serif font as the "regular" display font for resources

    Bradley: Quite a while ago I did BOTH of these suggestions. I'm running XP. But, IF I try to move off "default" it STILL messes up my Hebrew transliterations. So there is still something else going on. Regards Steve F
Logos 3 (3.0f I believe) included Bible Study Templates. Did Logos 4 include these or not?
No. There was a hint in one reply from "Logos" that they still might yet appear, but no timetable was given as far as I know. (I too, appreciated those "beta" templates, but grew weary of having to continually re-download them
Any idea why only the old testament prophets are the only old testament resources available in this series? Any expectation that other old testament resources will become available in Logos format? • Re: RANKING of L4.0 library resources

    But isn't it the case that Ranking serves to "prioritize" resources unless you do that manually? Sorry, NO. I really don't want to have to prioritize everything in my library to get it to work properly. Sorry again (really) Logos has put thought into some of this stuff but Ranking and Rating (stars) really need to be re-thought. Regards Steve F

  • Re: slow speed

    These Logos stats don't mean much. In another thread (during beta) someone from Logos admitted that they are only measuring the internal workings of the search. Once that is complete it is up to the rest of the logos' engine and your computer system to display the results. Yet much of the "problem" appears to be in that "rest of the Logos engine" area

  • Re: Still font problems in 4.0a RC1 running XP

    Yes, I would rather be able to use a San-serif font for resources in L4 (like I could in L3) rather than the default serif, but changing it to anything otherthan the built in default serif then makes my Hebrew tranliterations look like little boxes (in XP). Steve F

  • Re: 4.0a Beta 5 Release Notes

    Dan, welcome to this beta stream. Some have noticed that scrolling (with the mouse) has been improved. Page UP-Page Down also seems a bit more responsive, as does using the Space Bar to Page Down. I am also pleased that the Collections/Cited by (sections that use parts of Passage/Exegetical Guide now immediately automatically "name" any custom collection

    THANK YOU FOR "MIDDLE" CLICK For those of us with "sluggish" machines this is probably the BEST FEATURE YET Thank you again to the dev's who got this functioning. Now I can at least read/scroll down without tugging and clicking at the usually non-responsive scroll bars. THANK YOU DEV's (After just reading my new version of "A Christmas Carol" I do hope

    QUOTE: Google has a snapshot of it and that can be searched. Matthew, that is exactly why Logos told us they wanted to be here way out in the "world wide web." They wanted to be searched for and found. It is why they 'moved' us from the e-mail based News Reders. And (trying to be fair to your point of view) this is part of the price they pay for being

    John, Thanks for all the L3 Videos Seeing the turn this thread has taken (like most others usually do ) I just want to thank you for so many past helpful videos in Logos 3. I am also still waiting for your "Fellahee Exegetical Study Guide" to show up in L4 (along with the other "beta" guides from L3). - Yes, I know it is supposed to be one of the 'Coming

    Mark, I also had to include ANDNOT "Christmas" because I was picking up "A Christmas Carol" ! I hope there are no "real' background and culture books with Christmas in the description, or they will now never make it into this dynamic collection. - I guess I could have just "dragged" it out, rather than adding the above syntax "phrase." http://www.4-14.org.uk/prioritising-resources-in-logos-4 Brent: Welcome to the forums. Short Answer: NO BUT the above website by Mark Barnes has two excellent video's describing the L4 way of doing collections. If you are a "math major" it should be very simple. If not, also go to the Logos WIKI (there is a link at the top of this page) where you will
