• Warning - Off Topic ... a flying, mangled, monochrome WOT soon coming to a computer near you.

I was writing a review for Samir Selmanovic's It's Really All About God: Reflections of a Muslim Atheist Jewish Christian when I read in someone's review that their frienc divides theology into two camps - clean theology and messy theology. I'm thoroughly in the messy theology camp and love the distinction. This may be a common saying but I'd not seen

  • Word study template plus various inductive Bible study formats ...

Yes, I am copying my templates into a note file with links to the methods supporting them. But for the moment what I really want to share is the Word Study template - this is my current draft trying to deal with some of the problems I see in many word study instructions. I'm really interested in feedback because I'm trying to take advantage of Logos

  • Commentaries from COePA (Coptic Orthodox)

I would very much like to have the PDF commentaries from http://www.coepa.org/downDetails.php?nav=downloads&cat_id=1&subcat_id=23&thrdcat_id=47 availble in Logos format. Since they are already in electronic format and available online for free, I can't imagine that COePA would require much compensation.

Go to the Programs directory to find the Ebible directory. There may be an uninstall in the directory which you can run.
it might be easier for us to batch merge
I want to state that I do agree with you completely. I've found three groups of items that seem to be missing topics for which I've added a few example topics: 1. Named passages - Jewish Torah portions, Latin/Greek/Arabic names for Psalms and canticles, etc. 2. Anonymous people

  • e-journal tool bar - not drop down

I'm certain that I've seen code for a drop down menu on a toolbar in the news groups but I didn't find it quickly. I use custom tool bars for URLs - this one has some e-journals, original texts, commentaries on lectionaries and a few daily prayer sites. It's a bit of an introduction to support my suggestion (in the suggestion forum) for drop down menus

Okay, Logos has given us an opportunity to show that we'll help them assemble web resources etc. ... I was cooperating with some links to one of my favorite sites when it occured to me that there is an even better solution. How about having H UGOYE: J OURNAL OF S YRIAC S TUDIES available in Logos format. Or as an alternative, what about Logos automatically
Have you tried using the Increase / Decrease indent icons at the top of the notes page?
Yes, they indent the whole text unless I've double spaced it - which I think is really the matter of a line feed.

  • OpenText.org Syntactically Analyzed Greek New Testament

What is the status of this product? It shows without a price or picture or status - I don't know how to interpret this. Yes, I do know the diagrams are available online as an up to date cheap alternative.

  • Indentation on Notes

In my notes of chiasms, I would like to indent each level. However, when I use the indent icon I must double space in order to indent only the highlighted portion. Is there a reasonable way around this ... or a way I can see the underlying markup to see if I can find a workaround?

  • Bible study worksheets integrated into Logos

I just posted an example in the general discussion forum of a chart that I would like to be able to reuse as a format for Notes. This is a similar example but it makes the case more clearly. As one who develops Bible studies, I like to be able to create sample answers for particular instances. This is a sample that I'd posted as part of a PBB - this

Thanks for the Porter Stemmer reference - I agree that it is a primitive algorithm. Actual I was intending to take the Greek, Latin and English back to their Indo-European roots (just kidding). You are correct that I am assuming "manual" coding. However, the vast majority can be handled programatically as replace literals in a file that applies to all
