rather than having Unnamed Collection as the default name, it should stay as an empty field until you give it a name,
Sorry to disagree on this point, but I have to admit that I would have lost work several times if I didn't know to find it under "unnamed" - collections should work like the other resources in this regard

I must be missing something; you can nest collections now.

Independent Bible Study by Irving Jensen would be a nice Logos addition even though it is available for free as an e-book,

  • Exchanging information

In Logos 3, it was easy to share note files, verse lists, time lines, toolbars, PBB, sentence diagrams ... to what extent can I expect to be able to work collaboratively by exchanging these resources in Logos 4?

  • Linkage

Not the first priority, but it would be nice to have links based upon liturgical date to the lectionary commentaries such as Lectionary Reflections. Yes, I realize that there are differences in terminology ... but I am finding it difficult to create a reasonable search that works and standard tags would help.

  • Re: Put My Sermons and My Illustrations in "My Content" section of search results.

I'm torn between having them as a separate "collection" and mixing them with notes - especially since there is so much unknown re: final form of notes, sermons and PBB's.

  • Re: Allow stem searching (not just lemma searching)
I'm distinguishing stem from lemma to make this clear. A lemma is the dictionary/lexicon entry for a word. A stem is that part of the word that is used to create cognate words in a language.
I strongly agree. Anything that moves closer to the linguistics view I want. But don't ask me why I want to use lemma numbers

Where I had to enter "1:" was http://lbs.layliturgy.org/?p=1004 I can toggle back and forth on the link/no link (see bottom line)

As I am always interested in items that can be turned into templates, I'd be interested in seeing a sample of what you have in mind.
These notes never appear in either "My Content" or at the very top selection which I assume where notes go.
I've not had trouble getting the notes from either source to appear in My Content - but I rarely attach a note to a selection rather than a reference. While I expected a list of Passage Guides rather than a mark

  • Curious (mis)tagging

I have Psalm 25 open in the RSV. If I right click anywhere within it and nothing is highlighted (i.e. cursor only), it reverts to Psalm 24:10 as the reference for a note. Okay, I wasn't really trying to add a note but it was fun playing with this oddity/bug?

  • Ref tagger inconsistency / topic.logos inconsistency

In copying some citations from the Parallel Passages section of Logos 4, I entered Jude 14 into my web page. However, I had to enter Jude 1:14 in order to get reftagger to create the appropriate link. And, while I'm griping, topics.logos.com does not recognize chapters only, I have to enter chapter and verse. This is a bit silly in several of my recent

  • Re: Bug: Date wrong in Syntax search history

You mean Logos didn't stop at telling me where to attach notes, it also decided what searches I need to run tomorrow? That is so cool - much better than a graphic search and such a timesaver for me. Okay, did you double check that the date was correct on your machine? From the clip the problem could be either Logos or you.

I'll reword the question. When I have entered a note into a passage guide, each time I request the passage guide the note appears. It also appears in 'My Content' of any other guides to which it is relevant. I want to delete the note and I want the guide to not appear again in any "my contents"

  • Delete passage guide

    1) How do I delete a passage guide? I have moved the note attached to the guide to another location. 2) Can I get a list of my passage guides? Note: I do know how to remove templates and get lists of templates, I talking about the actual instances.

I need to play with that possibility in terms of how it functions with "My Content" but it is a possible workaround.
