• Re: Notes on passages ...or missing the obvious (I hope)
Martha, Martha, you are worried about many notes but only one is needed. Logos has chosen what you need and it will not be taken away from them. Sorry, to state the obvious but you're not missing anything. You cannot attach a note to a pericope of your choosing, though I dearly wish I could. Nor can we add more than one independent

I want a range of verses not a single verse. So far, I've only been able to do a range of verses if I attach the note to a selection. Selections attached to a particular text not to the reference across all translations. I normally "run" with three translations (1) the translation used by the lectionary for a particular church in a particular country

  • Passage guide notes ... non-display thereof (and other tales of woe)

Same passage showing the default Passage Guide and My Passage Guide (soon to be renamed) Note that the default guide places the note from My Passage Guide into the My Content section quite nicely ... but then refuses to show the content of the note.

  • Notes on passages ...or missing the obvious (I hope)

Okay I feel cornered. I want to do something quite simple: put a number of notes on a reference independent on translation. 1. If I use a note file and chose the reference option, I can only give the starting verse to the note. To attach to a longer passage, I have to use a selection option which ties it to a particular text. 2. If I use a note on the

Not unexpected but does anyone else find it humorous to read: "I will fulfill the promise I made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah" The Holy Bible : New Revised Standard Version. 1989. • Entering a passage citation in the text comparison window

    1) I was playing with Jeremiah 33:14-16 in the text comparison mode using BHS/WIVU, Logos LXX, VGCLEM, Tanakh, SVT to test Logos 4. I got exactly what I wanted. 2) I then expanded the test to Jeremiah 33:12-28 - yes, I misremembered the final verse number. Logos 4 did not give me an error not did it attempt to display and stop at 26. Logos 4 just sat
I was wondering if it possible to make a note in the Bible without coloring the text
This may not meet your need but if you attach a note to a reference rather than selection you only get a colored box. This is. of course, no help if the note applies to a particular translation.

It seems to me that the frustration level of those posting problems is increasing with time - understandable because they've had time to gain some familiarity and not yet solved their problems. It seems to me that the frustration level of those answering the problems is increasing with time - understandable because the same problems are reported over
