    This may have been asked elsewhere, but I haven't seen it yet: Do some or all of the new data sets (specifically the Bible Sense Lexicon) require resources that have been specifically tagged for certain functions? In other words, if we purchase a crossgrade without any new resources, will some of the new features not work? If specific tagging is required

    Thanks for the reply, Dave. Bradley Grainger reponded here and knew that the problem was that this computer is an offline computer, but did not have and answer on how to fix it, as of yet. When I had this problem in the past, they fixed it with an updated installer. I realize they are probably overwhelmed with L5 right now, so I am taking that into

    In my experience, upgrading in L4 from Scholar's to Silver to Platinum, I paid a bit more for it because I did it in steps like that. I don't remember the exact amount, but I recall that it was more than I expected. (I am guessing it cost me $100 more, or so, because I upgraded this way.) Buy the most expensive package you can afford, for the best discount

    If you noticed that you have a resource tab that is trying to resize itself, this may be causing the problem. It has been discussed in several different threads . I know this is a PC issue, so I don't know if Mac has the same problem. Closing the suspect tab fixed the problem for me.

  • Discover card cash back with Logos

    It would be great if Logos was a merchant that we could use Discover card cash back awards with. I don't know what is involved in getting set up to do so, but I currently have $400 in it and it would be nice to use this cash with a double rewards (!!!) offer or even a small $10 reward for a $50 redemption.

    You may be right - I'm not sure if Discover eats any of the "bonus" that they offer, or if the retailers take all of the hit. But, it might provide Logos with some business that they might not have gotten otherwise. I know that I have made purchases before with my cashback bonus that I would not have made, if I didn't have the Discover cashback program

  • Downloading L4 installer

    Is there a link anywhere that will download the L4 installer? I have an offline computer that I need to install L4 on and the "download" link downloads a 360k file that then downloads the actual installer. Is there a link that will download the actual 50-60 Mb file that installs the application?

    In my experience, I had to install the L3 resources in L3, then sync my licenses. After doing so, when I started L4, it automatically downloaded my new resources. I keep L3 installed just for this reason, until they come up with another method of making this work.

    I have yet to receive an e-mail from them that they have charged my credit card and I cannot yet download it. In my experience, sometimes it takes a day or two to process the order, but once I receive the e-mail from them, it downloads without a problem.

  • Updating an L4 install on a non-internet PC

    I successfully installed L4 on a PC that is not connected to the internet (thanks Dave Hooton for the instructions!) I recently purchased some resources and was wondering if I could simply copy the resource (*.logos4) files and my licesnses.dat to their respective folders to successfully update the install. Has anyone tried this or know if it will work
