Ok, it opening it this morning after restarting the computer set it back to Genesis 1:1. So, that is a weakness in the program that was not there in the past. I changed the startup to the "Most recent layout - local" and will see if it works better tomorrow. Thank you,

This problem IS NOT resolved. I logged into my computer this morning and started the reading layout and it started on Genesis 1:1 again. I went back and saved it a second time to a new save point and restarted the app. Again it REMEMBERED Correctly. I shut down the computer and restarted and again it remembered. Why it forgot yesterday's settings is

Yes, I open Logo to the HOME page and created a Dashboard card item using a custom layout. Set to ESV and Faithlife Study Bible with Notes as a separate floating panel. I have been using that since the Dashboard feature was released. Previously it remembered my last location when I exited. I have an unusual study pattern where I cycle through one or

Have I missed something or is this a new feature? Several months ago the Logos Web/Browser app would always open at the same scripture where I left off. Then I noticed the change. Every time I open the Logos Web app it opens on Genesis 1:1 . It does not remember where I left off. Most of the time I use the Mobile App and that always remembers, but the

I know there is a place for making suggestions and voting, but I could not remember or find the link to it, So, I will place it here. In the Logos Notes, there are two icons the FILTERS and NOTEBOOKS. While these are good to switch between the two there could also be an enhanced function of EXPAND and COLLAPSE the active contents tree. For example,

Absolutely! They better or we are all in grave danger. It is the lack of accessibility to that data that I don't like. For example. It has happened more than once that a company has gone offline for extended periods of time. And with the hacking and online attacks that occur today, it will happen again. Access to one's information during that time can

I was thrilled when I first came across Logos. It was a powerful tool that allowed me to do detailed research and keep notes that linked all the different documents, not just the Bible. Then I learned that their Android app did not even search on the notes. Couldn't even create bookmarks for things as simple as the "Four Spiritual Laws." Ahhhhggg NO
-
While that might be nice for simple notes. I have hundreds of notes in different notebooks. I can't go through and shift-click on each and every one. There should be the option to print an entire range or book using the filters. I also work in the computer industry and accidents happen, no matter how hard one tries to plan, having a backup in the case

Logos 8 at current can only print ONE note. It needs the ability to print ALL notes, by Filter, Book, Range, etc. including all note cross-references (anchors) that are attached within those notes. By cross-references, I mean the scripture reference, not the entire scripture itself. I created a feature item request for the above if you want to vote

Don't know if this topic has been addressed. The website returned an error when I searched "Search Notes in Andriod." Is there a way to search through notes in the mobile version of Logos?. I do not see any way to do this. The search does not have an option to search note. When I open a note, there is no option to search notes. Searching notes are essential

Thank you all for the excellent input. I purchased some of the resources.

The basic tools like Strong's tell us of words that are derived from combining two (or more) words to create a new word, but it does not really go very deep into explaining the origin and the full meaning of those individual subwords. Looking to dive deeper into these studies I wanted to ask you what books would you recommend to do a deeper word study
-
Thank you, that was very helpful.

I really like the flexibility of the mobile apps and have both an android phone and tablet that I use them on. However, there is one issue that frustrates me. When I am sharing with an individual I want to jump to certain scriptures in the Bible to point out the verses related to the topic we are talking about. BUT LOGO ANDROID DOESN'T DO THAT! I would

I think I'm starting to get the idea. What Logos Now provides is "Features" and we are required to buy "Libraries" or books. But when I look at features I see just as many books and resources in the features as the libraries. Libraries and Features appear to be the exact same thing. Is there anything differentiates a Library and a Feature? Or is it
-
I appears those of you who have Logos Now can clarify exactly how this thing works. I'm a newbie, still learning how to use Logos. I got the Starter Set because I did not understand what this Logos Now offers. I keep reading the descriptions of the features, but I am just not clicking. My wonder is; if I have the Logos Now membership, do I have to purchase

Re: "manage those notes" Should be: "manage those tags"
-
Well that helps in part. But is there any way to list those tags? Such as show me all tags within all notes or specific note? The ability to create tags is one thing, but it falls apart if there is no way to manage those notes. Which ends up with tags for the same topic, but spelled differently and not showing up when queried.
-
I realize that Logos uses "TAGS" in many different contexts, however in this post I am curious about using "tags" only with Notes. First off I should ask if there is a help file on this subject, because I have searched and gotten information on using tags everywhere, but with notes? When one creates a note file/topic and adds a reference to that note

Thank you, everyone. That was more than I expected. Wonderful information.
