Dave, I have good news - the audio freezing problem has vanished! My system froze multiple times on Friday and Sunday, but today, after several hours of glitch free audio, it appears to be fine. I had no indication there was any problem with my internet connection -- and I've got plenty of bandwidth for audio streaming with 9 MB down speed. Thank you

  • ESV audio bible freezes my PC since the update to 5.2a SR-1

Playing the ESV audio bible (Heath) results in a temporary system freeze for less than a minute with a steady tone from the speaker. After it unfreezes, if I continue playing the audio, the entire system crashes. I have to unplug and pull the battery to restart. Today's logs and additional info: 0066.Problem Report.zip I would be grateful for assistance

  • Re: If you could link only one resource ...

I link another translation in separate window so I can refer to it at a glance, or even change versions with left-right arrow keys using parallel resources. Left arrow for paraphrastic translation, right for literal. In a tab of that window, I link study bible notes which I refer to less often. (NET notes for translators comments or ESVSB for brief

  • Re: I see New Testament Commentary Survey, 7th ed. on prepub

Are most collections still broken-up in six months? If yes, then Carson's 7th ed. may not be available for purchase separately in Logos format until 2015 - or never if this resource is not available outside the collection.

What's a fair bid price?
It's worth whatever you're willing to pay for it . Bob advises at least 1 cent per page , which would be $50 in this case - more if you're very keen, of course.
Thanks Mark.
Trapp has been on Community pricing for a year, but has has barely got off the ground. I suspect people haven't realised he covers the whole Bible over nearly 5,000 pages, and have bid too low.
What's a fair bid price?

Phil, Thanks for posting screen shot and info on this 4K monitor. For anyone wondering, 3840 x 2160 on a 39 inch screen is 113 DPI. I don't have much experience sitting close to large monitors, just 20 minutes with Logos on my notebook connected to a 30" Dell. At that time, I wondered if the large amount of light due to the large surface would contribute

I can see the high resolution preserves the features of even very small text. Very nice. With the text that small (~ 6 point), do you hold the display close and read with magnifiers
Looking at it now, the layout is a bit. . .hefty. Logos is a 32bit application and we will run out of memory with too many files being open. I would close anything you don't need in order to reduce the amount of tabs you have open.
Could you please elaborate on your statement with the idea of providing some guidance
