• Re: Markups & Highlighting

Full agreement with the above. Having my library (or select books) with me all the time is brilliant, although lacking in just a few minor issues such as this. Highlighting is a must have on the iPhone app. +1 Also, with the favourites, I'd like to be able highlight a word at the point I am bookmarking and have it shown in the text of the favourite

  • Re: Oxford Bible Commentary. What did I stumble on?

going way off topic here please forgive me. The talk about finding and using older libronix files in L4 has me wondering if this collection is viable in L4? http://www.amazon.com/Lucado-Lifeworks-Library-Best-Works/dp/0785249664 If it is useable...I am quite keen on it, but have always held off not knowing. thanks

  • Resources in Scholar's Library: Gold - misplaced item

I wish there was a specific thread in which to post questions like this, as I am loathe to post....(please point me to it if there is) Having viewed most of Mark's outstanding videos, I have been creating collections to make life easier, and to ensure I am actually using the books in my collection. I typed "sermon illustrations" in the library search

Rosie, thanks so much for your kind words and very helpful post.
Hi Aaron, each thread is a new question. You did the right thing. Don't ever feel reluctant to post.
Thanks, I scouted around to see if there was an existing thread for "lost and found", but there didn't seem to be one. Perhaps it is rare that titles
Any defrag is useful but it should be done regularly, not just because an L4 download is coming!
Agreed Dave, in fact it is a necessity on my machine. I was more curious about the impact of Logos timing an index on a semi-fragmented drive in between routine maintenance. I'll force a reindex following my next defrag

My measily 80Gb (7200) HDD just belched....Reindexing just informed me that I have insufficient disk space. Who knew? • Re: Reading list SYNC

Apologies for doing a 'Lazarus' on this old thread
I would guess it is a book that Logos does not yet have permission to sync. There are a number of those. ...it is not permissible for them to sync it with iPhone nor are they allowed to sync most of the books by, Lucado , etc.
Having just finished a very painful

Thanks for the link and solving that mystery... "Fresh Ministry Illustrations = a collection of those three books..." as stated here by Dan Cleghorn , that really is a pity, as I too was anticipating a book of sermon illustrations.

  • Re: Prayer Lists on iPhone ... ?

the primary advantage would be the synchronisation...what with the library (apart from those I want that are sadly lacking on the iPhone) and reading plans keeping in sync....I would start to feel like I was being assimilated into the "Logos Collective"

At first I changed the "White on Black" to ON, and had those ghastly colours as it merely inverts everything.
I don't understand. If you go to the library on the ITouch while connected to WiFi, it lists all the books that you own that are also available for mobile usage with an airplane icon for those that have been downloaded for offline use.
YES PLEASE!!! We need a DVD update service. I'll explain the problem from another point of view....Missionaries, Pastors, Bible translators and Christian workers who are serving outside North America, Europe and parts of Asia do not always have access to high speed internet... • Marking books as read

I came across this discussion, but can't find anything in L4 (forgive my poor searching if I have completely missed something) http://community.logos.com/forums/p/2075/15904.aspx#15904 I am wondering how to list the books I want to read, am reading or have read - similar to a Facebook application I use for print resources.
