• Re: iphone/ipad/mobile: Make Layouts from L4 available for mobile devices

That's a great idea. however, Why not a full layout though? There is a competitor's product that has 5 panes which works really well. I would love to see more panes/windows.

  • Re: esv reverse interlinear

Just bumping this because the LN number would be really useful in the RI information. The LN information in the word study pain lists all the domains and there is no way of identifying the correct one. The only way is to view the Lexham Interlinear which has the LN number listed for each word. Having th LN number listed in the RI information would save

Thanks KS4J. This has worked great. I've not really used passage lists before but this has worked great. OK, it's not perfect but works fine for what I am after.

  • Searching Words of Christ

I am trying to get a list of nouns spoken by Christ as recorded in the gospels, to get an idea of what he spoke most about. I can do single searches for english words (Life, Kingdom, Give etc). I can do a search for all nouns in a gospel, but I can't seem to limit it to the words of Christ, even though there is an option with the Morphological Search

Hi David You have raised an interesting point. I love Logos and electronic media, but I still like to use my hardcopy Bible for that very reason of familiarity of where certain passages are on the page. Andrew
Logos appears to be the best available. That being said it is also the most expensive software available!
Nothing wrong with being the best and the most expensive.
Has anyon else contacted them about this?
No I haven't. However I can replicate your issue. I can't get a definition for Gilgal in 1 Sam 10:8 (using ESV which has RI). I can't get definitions for Philistines (v5) or Benjamin (v2). I was wondering if it was a proper noun problem, but some proper nouns I can find definitions

For me, in this instance I do. In other instances, for me, I

Tabs would be great, but personally I like split screens. Two is great but five would be fantastic which Laridian has. Competitors products get mentioned from time to time on these forums. I think the devs are ok about that.

  • iPad Suggestion

Hi I am enjoying using Logos on the new iPad. Maybe this should be posted in the suggestions forum, but it would be great to have more split screens available (like how PocketBible by Laridian have theirs). This means we could have more complex layouts. What do you think?
I meant what do the new iPad owners here have to say about the reported poor Wi-Fi performance vs. the iPad 2?
Sorry about that. Obviously too giddy about the display ;-) I've had no issues with the wifi as far as I am aware, but don't have an iPad 2 to compare. Seems comparable to my iPhone 4.
What do the new iPad owners here have to say
The text on the Logos app look amazing and is a joy to read. I don't have an iPad 2 to compare, however, the Olivetree app has not been updated to retina display yet and the text on that look really fuzzy (not a criticism, just an observation as I am sure they will be updating
