• Gaudete et exsultate

I did a fair amount of work on this - Added appropriate chapter/headings for table of contents Added true footnotes corrected numerous bible links corrected spelling errors in the English translation the document has page numbers, but I did not add the [Page: ...] construct in. I'll leave that to someone else to do, please share if you do! enjoy! 2477

Thanks Adam for the thoughtful reply. Let me address a couple points you raise. 1. With regard to the command box rewrite needed, I hear you. I was in software development for 32 years, had my share of those. On the other hand, I also know that sometimes the specter of 'we are going to have to rewrite that all someday' stops all progress in an area
In fairness to FL, changing these product names in the sidebar was likely a very simplistic programing change that required very little research, coding, effort, etc. The other items you mention likely can't be resolved as simplistically as the products names in the sidebar.
True, but my focus was on intent - it doesn
Thanks for the feedback about the journals everyone. Steve, yes, I almost always see the posts but don't always get a chance to respond right away. For a more academic audience, Theological Studies , Communio , Catholic Biblical Quarterly, and Catholic Historical Review would, if rights were no obstacle, form

I am disappointed in decisions that are being made to 'upgrade' the software, like this new advertising-oriented feature in the side pane, especially when some of the more egregious UI bugs that have been reported, that are "on the list", seem to continue to get ignored. Why can't these be fixed, they can't be that difficult and it would improve the

The Bible Today , edited by Rev. Donald Senior, is a wonderful academic scripture publication. It is referenced almost 1,000 times in my library searching for Footnote Text. Fr. Senior's bio is very impressive - Donald Senior, C.P., holds a Licentiate in theology (S.T.L.) from the University of Louvain, Belgium and a Doctorate in New Testament Studies

Keep this in mind too - the way these spam bots work, they surf the web looking for wikis, blogs, forums and any other web forms to submit spam links to. They have logic built in to avoid all the obvious counter measures that would otherwise prevent them from registering or posting. AND, the fun part, as they find fertile ground where their posts are

Another interesting book coming up on Prepub that Catholics among others may be interested in is EP Sanders' Paul and Palestinian Judaism . This is considered a seminal book on NT thinking about Paul, and while EP Sanders is not Catholic, his book is referenced and given due credit by several Catholic theologians in the Logos ecosphere (as well as many

IMHO major functions are identical as far as I can tell, at least for all that I do, and performance is hugely improved in the Mac version as long as you don't go crazy with Visual Filters, which are a real performance killer. I use a 2017 MacBook Pro and it runs fine for me, performance-wise. The biggest issue will be annoyance level in the user interface

  • Verbum leaving disk volumes on Mac

Hi, see attached picture - I happened to stumble on the fact that I have 3 disk volumes that have been created on my Mac by Verbum. These are disk images, as this text from a diskutil command shows: /dev/disk4 (disk image): #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: GUID_partition_scheme +9.0 GB disk4 1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk4s1 2: Apple_HFS Verbum 8.6 GB disk4s2

And this addendum - the acknowledgment on the back cover was from Rev. This has been company policy ever since FL moved to this forum software, and maybe earlier - nothing is to get in the way of a possible new customer stumbling into the forums and getting engaged or asking a question easily and quickly, ESPECIALLY if they are someone considering a FL purchase. Given that, they do a pretty good job of reacting to spam
