This page below is a good resource, but it could be GREAT instead of just good if Logos would have each page you get when clicking on a link and the resources are displayed if it showed whether you owned each resource and what the price for each resource is. https://www.logos.com/guides John

What a fantastic idea!

Now that I'm settled into Logos 9, it occurred to me that with the 15% discount available, this is the perfect time to take a look at all the Logos and Verbum Starter packages. I've purchased 5 so far all for less than $20 each (some less than $10). It's a great way to inexpensively broaden the scope of your resources for a very small investment. Be
It seems weird that using copy and paste keeps formatting (including new line) in Logos but I can't create new line formatting in Logos. That seems to me like the ability to duplicate new line is there just not the ability to create it within the program.
YES! This has been a standard feature in note taking apps for

I'm sorry, but this is beneath the integrity which Logos should be showing. They've taken the Free Book of the Month which has been available since Dec 1 and now sent out an email proclaiming this as a free Christmas Book. It's deceptive and frankly, made me upset when I clicked on the link to only find that it's the regular Free Book of the Month.

I agree that the process of updating the library needs to be fixed. I don't mind that it notifies me that this is happening, but the real problem is that when it appears and disappears it MOVES the contents of the library up and down, which is NOT NECESSARY. In addition, when it completes the update it unselects any resources I had selected. This is

1. What resources does the Atlas Tool access? Is there a complete list? 2. Are there plans to make additional atlases available to be used in the Atlas Tool? 3. Will the many, many Atlas/Map resources which are set to type:monograph be tagged and changed to type:atlas? 4. Is it possible to buy any resources which the Atlas tool uses and I don't currently

Yes.
In general, when doing searches in Logos, I'm never confident that the search method(s) I try are doing a good job of identifying the resources in my library that have the information I'm looking for and are presenting those resources in my search results.
This is exactly my frustration. I feel that Logos has done
It is present in the Information pane of both the resource and Library.
David, You are mistaken. What you are pointing to in both your instances are tags for the resource. To verify this, do the exact same thing for any resource which is a monograph and notice that it does not indicate that it is a monograph anywhere

Thank you both for the help with having the library display the type. I've got that working, though i still think that the resource type should be shown in the information pane. i'm anxiously hoping for a response from FL on why many resources are type:monograph instead of type:atlas, and even more importantly, why almost all of them are indexed by

Now that I have Carta, I've started playing around with atlases and have several questions: 1) Typing atlas in the library search brings up 34 resources that are either atlases and/or maps. The type of these atlases is not consistent. 15 of them are type:atlas and the rest are type:monograph 2) Prioritizing most of these resources is useless because

Thank you. Exactly what I was looking for.

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, but I'm trying to see the different feature upgrade sets compared so I can choose which one I need, and therefore which package level to get. (I'm trying to decide between silver and gold and which denomination to go with).

Carta, of course. But I haven't seen anyone mention *Reading Plans for Monographs* which also sync to mobile devices! I will likely use that single feature more than anything else. Thank you!
Also, occasionally I will scan the Starter and Bronze packages of other denom's I normally am not interested in because at times they will offer an encyclopedia or other resource that I really want at a great price, far lower than that resource itself. You might discover some gems.
YES! I've actually bought several of

In past years I've typically bought either the Silver, Gold or Platinum packages when a new version comes out. My thought has typically been that Silver aims mostly for teachers of Bible Study Groups, Adult CE or Small Groups, while Gold and Platinum tend to aim more towards pastors, people in full time ministry, and seminarians. I may be completely

Thank you, Denise. I had completely forgotten to grab these earlier this month. John

I'm on a Mac and it isn't crashing, but the indexing is stuck on 0% for mor4e than an hour. Closing and restarting, same thing.

While the 30% off sale is going on, you can get some incredible deals on the various denominational starter base packages! It's a really cheap way to broaden your library theologically. However, since some of the starter base packages have a few resources in common, you'll get the biggest savings if you buy them one at a time. After you buy the first
