  • Re: Logos "private sale" - 26 December 2011

[quote user="Peter Li"] Honestly, this relentless push to get us to spend more money and buy more things this past year has been tiring. I sincerely hope that my brothers and sisters have the self-restraint to not let their personal or family or church finances be overly stretched because of these non-stop bombardment from Logos. • Re: Hardcopy vs digital media... anybody else like me?

For myself, having now had to move a few times, i resolved to give away all my paper library (as much as possible) and to only have digital. I've found the best solution for reading and note taking is to use a Windows Tablet Laptop, that allows me to swivel the screen into tablet mode, and then use Logos alongside OneNote, so i can write, copy/paste

done some more playing, and actually there seems to be just the one book that no longer wants to show the plane icon 'Christ Centered Preaching' but i wonder if this is because there's also no cover image?

  • move from 3G to 3GS, offline for some books no longer works

Hi, got my new 3GS this week, and moved all software over to it, including Logos, and i noticed that some of the books i'd originally downloaded for offline reading now no longer show this plan icon, so i changed the switch from offline back to online and then back again, and it no longer wants to try and download the book, also i see some covers are

  • Re: Reading Plan Updates between Windows/iPhone App?

Hi Steve, can u normally see the NASB on the iPhone? since i discovered that if you create a reading plan for a version of the Bible that isn't visible on the IPhone then the reading plan doesn't come over from L4, since i discovered this with the NRSV reading plan, so had to re-create it as RSV since the RSV is on the iphone libarary but not NRSV.

  • Re: Timeframe for full implementation of Logos 4 Mac?

[quote user="David Hilty"] David, one of the final obstacles for me to move to a Mac was the Logos announcement that they had come out with a Mac version. Here I am a year later without what I would consider a reasonable alternative to what I had on my PC. I have no desire to run parallels or boot camp on my Mac. The reason I bought a Mac is so I could

  • Re: 2-way Sync for reading plan

mmmm, i notice that if you follow the hyperlinks within the text, so say OT -> NT -> Psalsm -> Prov. and then go back to the reading plan then it isn't marked as read, but if you then click the Prov. link from within the reading plan to goto the text and then go back to the reading plan it then shows up as read. when your going through the reading plan

  • Re: Timeframe for full implementation of Logos 4 Mac?

to be fair to Logos, you've invested in the digital resources, and not the software, since there giving that away free, you can gain access to your resources via either L3 on PC (via Fusion etc) or Mac L1, or Mac L4A, so i think we're pretty well catered for, yes i'd love to have the full PC L4 functionality, but i'm pretty happy with how things are

  • 2-way Sync for reading plan

I know you can download your reading plan to the iphone, but i was wondering, is the iphone app also supposed to sync-back to the mother-ship what you've read, since i can't see anyway to 'Mark as Read' like you get on the PC L4. cheers

  • Re: Install Logos 4 for Mac

don't forget to just drag the L4 app to your application folder first, then double-click it from your application folder, it should then go and check for any updates and prompt you to install them if needed. then it'll ask for your email and password so it can then start the long slow process of downloading your resources and indexing them, but you

  • Re: Reading Plan

worked it out, if you create a reading plan for a Bible that isn't yet visible in your iphone lib then won't work, i.e. i use NRSV and the plan is missing on the iphone, but if create a ASV reading plan then it is visible. problem solved, just need to wait for NRSV to come to the iphone lib. cheers

I see the iPhone app has a one year reading plan, is it a future feature for your L4 custom reading plan to sync with the iPhone? thanks
