So we are getting a pre-pub on Tom Wright's new book which isn't published yet (The NT in its world) but some of his old books remain unavailable. I don't get it...

  • Re: Mac OS Bug?

I am running Logos Bible Software 8.2.0.0015 under Mac OS 10.14.3 on a Macbook Pro 13 inch 2017 but things are not behaving as you state they should. I booted my Macbook Pro with two additional screens. With no other programs running, I run Logos 8. Logos 8 appears on Display 1 notwithstanding the fact that it is supposed to run on Desktop 3. • Mac OS Bug?

I am mildly frustrated by the fact that Logos does not obey or pay attention to the screen it has been assigned to. Under "Options" for Logos (accessed by right clicking on the Logos icon in the dock), I have selected "Desktop on Display 3". But Logos always opens on Display 1. It is tenacious and stubborn in its desire to always open on Display 1.

  • Re: Unable to bid on community pricing product

I think I understand the problem. Apparently, it is already included in a base package I purchased. But this brings up a question: Why is a book that has already been produced in community pricing?

  • Unable to bid on community pricing product

I tried to bid on the History of the Sacred Scriptures of the New Testament (2 vols.) which closes for bidding at 12:00 pm (PST) on Friday, 11/9/2018. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

The introduction of this new "feature" messes up the basic functionality of the reading plan feature

This works well except that I no longer am able to check off that I have read the current passage, i.e. the "mark read" button no longer appears at the end of the chapter.

  • BUG: Changing the default reading plan layout

If you change the reading plan layout by replacing the default layout using "Replace with current layout", the specified layout loads when you open the reading plan. However, when you click on the bible reading card, it no longer opens the Bible with the "Start reading" heading. As a result, when you finish reading the chapter, there is no way to update

This solves my problem, although I will have to change the layout for the reading plan every time I move to a new book. But I did that for my default layout in any event so it is a reasonable workaround. Thanks again!!

  • Unwelcome change to reading plans

I have taken a great deal of time to set up specific layouts for each book of the Bible, including setting up the top rated commentaries for each book. This worked very well with the reading plans, so as I advanced through various books, I would set up my default to the specific book I was reading through. But with Logos 8, this has now changed. The

Tried watching the quickstart videos this morning and received the error, "We couldn't access the media you're trying to play." I watched one video without problem and received this error while trying to watch "Survey the Desktop". Internet speed is at 177 Mbits/sec so speed is not an issue and I am having no other internet issues.
