My copy of "The Façade" indicates that it is a temporary resource. It was downloaded today. Not sure how long I will have it, so I've already read about 1/2 of it.

  • Re: Smart Tag

Michael, it has been so long since I first enabled Smart Tags that I have forgotten exactly how and where I got that information. When you first open MS Word, scroll down to the "options" tag and open to a dialogue box that has several options. The option labeled "Add-ins" opens to a list of those available for use, if Logos Bible Software is not listed

  • Re: Smart Tag

Michael, I would refer you to Mark's comment/link above on how to set it up. One of the things that is often overlooked with Smart tags is that Logos has to be open and running for the Smart Tags to work. I just went to MS Word and tried it without Logos running in the background and the Scripture replacement for the reference did not work (as I suspected

Thank you Rosie. I was able to tag several of these resources in my library...and added several to my wish list.

Rosie, would you mind sharing your collection rule for Bible Characters and what you use to define the tag of BibleChar? Thank you.
Hi all, I'm going to be doing a selection of talks on the life of Moses in a few weeks time. Having never really used Logos to prepare character studies before, I'd welcome any tips, ideas, layouts, resources, etc. Let me know your thoughts, Liam
Hi Liam, there are several resources available in Logos, but the easiest

  • Re: Best budget device for full Logos 8?

I recently upgraded my 2 year old laptop that had a 1T HD, 12 GB Ram and an i7 processor to a 1T SSD and added 4 more GB's of Ram (for a total of 16 GB Ram). It may not be the fastest laptop in the west, but it is definitely faster than it was. Prior to the upgrade, it would take as much as 3 or 4 minutes to be "user" ready, now it is the 15-20 second

  • Re: Christ-centered Sermon Preparation Workflow

Thank you for sharing this Mark. One possible tweak that I would like to see (selfish plea): Please add the page numbers from Chapell's book. I have it in another Bible Software program and would like to read it as if it were connected to Logos. If it is too much trouble, maybe just the chapter connected to the steps would suffice. Thank you!
They've cited the 3rd edition of the work but linked to the 2nd, which they no longer sell. • Re: Moving personal books to a new computer without rebuilding them

Harry, if I remember correctly (sometimes I do, sometimes I don't) :) you can upload the PB to the cloud and then as long as the original document is on the computer (new or otherwise) it should be available. I've not tried this, however, and others may say differently. Bill

Miles, since this passed out of community pricing and into pre-pub/under contract, do we have any kind of idea when this might be finally in our hands? Last year you said that you thought it might be by the end of the year (and I know that you can never really know until it is VERY close). It has been several months and just curious. Thanks! Bill

Joseph, It does mean that Phil and the team are working on something. Usually, turn around time, is minimum of 6 weeks. However, if it is something that is detrimental to all Logos users or a significant amount of those user, turn around time can be much shorter...depending on how quick they can discover the problem and find a solution. Over the past
According to Phil Gons which has a post above ChrisClark's (3 up), he and his team was looking into this issue about a week ago. This is why I addressed my comments to him. Anyway, thanks for the heads up. This means that won't be seeing the problem resolved until some time in April. Nice.
Joseph, just wanting to step

I did a rather quick word search and the word "kaleo" can also mean "invite." It that the sense for your search? That concept is used 18 times in the NT with most of them being in the gospels.
