Jim, I know that your "excursion" into the scientific was OT (off topic), but it was SO refreshing. My family is going to the Creation Museum's Creation College in a couple of weeks. Many of the topics you discussed will be taught there as well. I'm looking forward to any further comments you might make...offline of course. Send me something at bshewmkr

I guess you could like several of us do....use every available product. I use WORDsearch almost as much as I do Logos because they have some resources that aren't currently available in Logos and Logos has some resources that aren't currently available in WS. I even use e-Sword once in a while for the same reasons...

Matthew, I appreciate the link. I'm pretty sure that I've been to this one. There is definitely some very fine information there. As to the Restoration Herald, I have all of them archived as well. Too much good stuff...

Thanks Bohuslav. I sometimes forget that we still have that option. I remember the "good old days" in college/seminary when we typed on paper. I would be working on one project and then another was supposed to be done for the next day. Take paper out of the typewriter and work on the new project and then try to re-align the paper from the first project

Thanks Goerge. I have a UPS and it has saved me several times. The "fumble-fingers" is just one of the things I'll have to live with...actually, I have two different laptops, 1 is a 17" with full keyboard and number pad and the other is a smaller 15.4" and the keyboards are just enough different that it sometimes takes me a few minutes to get the fingers

Matthew, I like the way you think. I can only imagine if "The Millennial Harbinger" or "The Christian Baptist" were converted to Logos. WOW! Were is the website for the Restoration Reprint Library?

  • Gospel Advocate Commentaries

I would be interested in seeing if Logos could work out some kind of an agreement to obtain the Gospel Advocate Commentary Series. These are somewhat dated, but excellent commentaries. Also, maybe work out a deal with College to see if you could utilize the "Restoration Reprint Library" titles.

  • Re: College Press -- Bible Study Textbook series

I would heartily second this recommendation. I "cut my eye teeth" on this set of commentaries while in Bible College. I, too, have all of the available PDF and you can search them, but that search is VERY limited. Putting them into Logos format would be a great step for the Kingdom.

I would like to be able to have something in my workspace and then when I shut down Logos, have it maintained just like I left it, so that when I restart Logos, my last used workspace would already be there, (just like I left it). I also use WORDsearch and it has that capability. There is nothing more frustrating to me, than to spend a lot of time working

  • Re: Which Commentaries do you use most in Logos?

My personal preference in commentaries is: First and foremost the Bible itself. I use a Thompson Chain Reference to help me see what the Bible itself says about its own content before I go to any commentary. Secondly, I use the College Press Commentaries and Commentaries that were written by my college/seminary professors. Thirdly, I use the New American
