Just checked to see if this bug is fixed yet. The second or third monitor problem continues.
It's in our 2020 queue and will likely be done by the end of the year.
Wonderful. Thank you very much.
Does anyone know if the Modern English Version (MEV) is being updated as we speak, or is it going to be updated with the reverse interlinear soon? I love this translation but it lacks the inline interlinear. Thanks,
Question has been asked about updates: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/188200/1087096.aspx#1087096
I have not lost my cursor in notes, but I have seen this lately in the Sermon Docs.
This may be the "missing cursor" bug associated with having Logos on a second monitor. The cursor does not show up in notes or in certain fields of Sermon Editor.
It can now be found in a bundle for those interested. If this bundle were on the Lexham site I'd probably grab it but I didn't see it earlier. https://www.logos.com/product/189366/lexham-press-new-testament-commentaries-bundle
Check out each set separately. I can get the two sets I do not have, Osborne and LCC, ordering
Thankful for Faithlife offering => Modern English Version (MEV) (while dreaming of MEV reverse interlinear).
Agree. I would rather have this than the KJV 2016.
Welcome to the forums, Harry, and thanks for the news. Unfortunately, even after the latest Logos 8 update, the cursor is still not visible for me when editing a Note.
The cursor is not showing on my second monitor either. Both in notes and in certain fields in sermon editor.

Does anyone know if the MEV is going to come out with a second edition, or MEV 20, to fix the very few typographical errors? Online chatter is mixed. Some say Passio said "no," they decided not to update it, while others say Passio said they were working on it. Wondering if anyone has any current information on this. Thanks.
Same settings as Daniel, but when I Ctrl-V from a commentary in Word, it pastes it in as Calibri 12pt. My Normal style is Arial 10pt. If I right-click in my sermon, and select "merge formatting," it pastes in as Arial 10 pt.
Has this been fixed with the new update? I am not able to test it right now.
I forgot to mention that even when Win10 was updated to version 1909 and all the latest hotfixes were installed, the problem (no cursor in second monitor) still was not fixed. Sorry.
I, too, have the latest Win10 version 1909 update and the cursor does not show up on the second monitor in notes and in certain fields
Make the Modern English Version reverse interlinear capable like the other major translations. There are not many modern works based on the T.R. and it would be a great tool for those of us in KJV/ TR churches
I do believe this has been requested in our Wish List for Logos 9.
-
I was wondering if the MEV is linked to the interlinear Greek and Hebrew, or at least is there a plan to do so? Thank you,
It would be very beneficial to have a reverse interlinear.

It would be nice to have a Creation Base Package consisting of all the works from the Institute of Creation Research (ICR), especially the Henry Morris Study Bible notes. Also, all the works from Answers in Genesis (AIG) would be a nice addition. These could even be two separate packages.
Some other users are reporting this problem (but we don't have a solution yet): https://community.logos.com/forums/t/186319.aspx
Still not fixed. Any update on when a fix might be expected?

I was wondering about the difference. I have the 2007 edition of the Apologetics Study Bible by Ted Cabal. Is the one on sale, the 2017 version by Ted Cabal, really that different?

In Sermon Editor, under the Occasions section, I would like to see a calendar where you could select the date the sermon was preached, like in Faithlife Sermons. I would also like to see a drop-down arrow where you could select places you have previously preached rather than typing them in. The same feature could be used in the Author section. A drop

It was suggested that I repost my "wish" here. For 2020, could Logos get their Logos Bible Atlas working again? I cannot get it to work in Windows 10 no matter what I do with compatibility settings. I just want it to work again. :) For those who do not remember this great program: https://www.amazon.com/Logos-Bible-Atlas-Research-Systems/dp/1577991737

You now have to right click in your Word document and select "merge" for it to paste correctly, even if you have that option selected in Word's options.
