For those of you who went from Logos 4 Mac to Logos 5 Mac, I have a question for you: How is the memory usage in Logos 5 Mac compared to Logos 4 Mac? Is it better? As in, does it use less RAM than Logos4? I
I have had positive experience on my older 2007 MacBook Pro. A video along with my fill specs is here for your to
Also, for those interested in downloading Joe's file: There is currently a bug with the tab labelled "Documents." It currently allows you to connect only to collaborative documents. However, you can still retrieve shared documents by: 1. Going to documents.logos.com/ 2. Click on your name at the top 3. Select the appropriate

  • Sermon Planner Template Now Public on FaithLife

For a long time, folks had to get my sermon planner template on my blog and then recreate it in Logos. Now with the new Logos sharing tool, I have created a forum so you can easily get the Note and directly import it into your Logos 5. Here is the link https://faithlife.com/gcpreaching/documents I made the group "open" so to get the file all you have

  • What video should I make next?

Logos offers some great videos that explain their features, but what I want to know is this... What video would you like to see next? Is there a gap in their videos that leave you wondering how to use certain features? Feel free to post here, but I personally will be far more responsive to in making videos to comments left with this video here http

  • Re: Upgrading
Here is my 2 cents: It would have been better if Logos made it clear, (maybe on the upgrade page) that this is a special opportunity for you to upgrade from L4 to L5 and get a deal on some new resources that you don't currently have that are now part of the newly defined package. Or you can upgrade to a different package. Also
My problem is I teach a seminary course on using Logos. I will need to have both L4 and L5 as I cannot guarantee that all my students will upgrade right away. I have a class starting in January that will be mostly L4 users. Is there any way to have an install of both so I can teach and demo L4 while using L5 myself for personal
OK - so the 600lbs gorilla in the room for me is this. I love Logos, but all you have to do is browse this forum to see that the MAC version has been buggy, lacked feature parity, and even many of the features promised never materialized. Crashes, data loss and other problems have been met with "Please send us your log files
I would like some more specifics on visuals and speed. It looks like they have moved away from trying to put things in the Mac toolbar, instead keeping it organized more like the Windows version? I think this is a good move, though in the video it looks like the PC version still has more flash to it: looks cleaner, works
Joe Miller, thanks for the video posting--that's how I found out L5 was on the market! My principle problem in L4 (Win) was I have a very large number of highlights, and the notes files just can't handle them--especially when I use the mobile versions of L4 (ios, android). Have improvements to highlighting (or rather, management
