  • Re: New in Logos 9: Sermon Manager

I'm looking forward to trying this feature in the very near future. FWIW, I create my sermons in a Mind Map form (using Simple Mind). I teach preaching classes at a local Bible College and show a lot of different types of builds for notes in the pulpit to no notes at all. I've briefly dabbled with and debated increasing my usage of the Canvas set up

  • Sermon Info Before Upload

I keep trying to search the forum for an answer, but the query keeps returning an error (site is offline). I have this happen every week, but usually forget to check until the following week when I'm uploading...it's not a major issue by any stretch, just a quality of life question really. When I take the service offline after the day is done, I get

  • Cleaning up old files

I was cleaning up some old files and stumbled across several .lbxoeb files I thought I had previously uploaded back during the Logos 4 days...apparently they did not stay with me. It would appear the uploading feature is obsolete as of last year. What can I do with these files? I'm looking to help a friend teaching a class that would utilize some of

  • Re: Crash on upload...please help. Thanks!

Thanks for the Sunday response! The sermon should be like 27 minutes long, so 27 seconds is not good. :( I can try and find the logs on the computer when I get back to church. Thanks

  • Crash on upload...please help. Thanks!

I know there was a post on here at one point (been a few years now), but I can't find it. We were getting ready to upload our sermon today. I clicked to add a "tag" at which point the program crashed. I know there is a way to recover the sermon so I can upload it and download the wav file, but where is it? I'm leaving the computer on and hope to find

  • Prayer List

I did a quick search, hoping to find an answer, but drew up blank. We have a "Faithlife" group at the church I serve...but few people use it (just making a statement, not blaming anyone or anything). I know I can share a prayer list in the Faithlife group. Is there a way to share a prayer list via Proclaim? Thanks all!

  • Re: Restoring Layouts

Got them all back! Additionally, renaming the files worked. Thank you both.

Decided to rename and create a copy of each. I'll let you know how it turns out. Hopefully the renames will be enough then I can just delete the copies, but didn't want to chance it

BRILLIANT! Booting up the home PC I rarely use with Logos (maybe once a month) Offline. Layouts are there! You all are beautiful!

  • Re: Suggestion: Add confirmation to unrecoverable layout delete option

Please and thank you. I've used Logos/Libronix for decades (well...21 years) now...this was such a rookie mistake on my part. Sigh...

[quote user="PetahChristian"] Sorry for the unfortunate news, David. I've created a Suggestion: Add confirmation to unrecoverable layout delete option to hopefully prevent such loss in the future. (For what it's worth, if you're thinking about upgrading to Logos 8, you might want to hold off recreating your layouts to include some of the new guides

  • Re: Restoring Layouts

The right side of the layouts menu was where I was deleting them from. I am sloppy. I had a lot of layouts saved. I assumed, incorrectly, the right side was just a cache of recent layouts, not the actual layouts themselves. As I was removing (really, deleting) those layouts from the right side, I noticed the left side start getting shorter and that

  • Re: Restoring Layouts

Support said it's impossible to restore them once they are deleted. Very thankful they can answer it...but still, sad this can't be undone. It was my own fault. Lesson learned.

I'm still on Logos 7. But I did try deleted as well as available. No luck. I guess I will give support a call. Thanks.

I have several items (like notes, clippings, sermons, and so forth) in documents.logos, but unfortunately, nothing when I filter by Layouts. Thanks though. I did get excited for a moment.

  • Restoring Layouts

I accidentally (wasn't paying attention) deleted several Layouts. Once I figured out what was happening, I tried to Undo what had been done. No dice. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much. all about Christ, David

Sorry, ended up at a spelling bee tonight. (My kid placed!) Yes, that has to be it. Thanks for fixing it. Not sure why I deleted that...

  • Mac log in error

We've used Proclaim since the beginning or pretty close to the beginning. I've enjoyed all the development. Today, tried to log in and post my sermon notes for the weekend and I'm getting a "Purchase Proclaim" type screen. You can see it gives me the option to sign out. I'm running a Macbook Pro 10.11.5 (15F34) 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 16GB Ram. Don't
