  • Re: Please Help, New to Mac

are you sure this is a new Mac sounds like a second hand unit thats a few years old at least and is PPC or power PC architecture chip (IBM) rather than an Intel Chip Arcitecture which all new Macs have used for a number of years I believe Logos 4 for Mac only runs on an Intel Mac System rather than the older PPC (Power PC IBM) system

  • Re: Boot Camp or Parallel

Ive used both Fusion and Parallels and even Beta tested PArallels P5 is considered quicker than F3 but there is not alot in it really. try a trial of both and see for yourself its free for 30 days. Personally I think Logos 4 for Mac is well on the way and thought I have run L4 for Windows i find it generally sluggish compared to the native Mac app.

I have run Parallels 5 and Fusion 3 with WIndows 7 and had no issues with networks thru my wireless on Fusion it set it up automatically I have always noticed mine works only when it is in bridged mode but Parallels 5 didnt set it this way on installation and I had to adjust the setting in Parallels itself as I described above to bridged and she worked

  • Re: Windows 7 can't find Apple's Airport Wireless Router

no sorry Windows in a VM accesses the wireless base station through OS X and not directly So if you cany get connection yet OS X gets a connection then there is an issue with Parallels and how it is working.

  • does Logos tie into Safari webkit ?

Does Logos 4 for Mac use or tie into webkit or Safari web browser somehow? Since A5 I have been getting strange happenings and it seems to relate to when Safari and A5 is opne or opening. A5 will cause safari to loose the web address bar or not allow typing input or crash and vice versa. Its hard to describe accurately but you can see it relates to

I understand the UI is not in place in the alpha and frankly it shouldnt be in an Alphe there are other things to sort out first at this low a level of development. I do like the basic look of the PC version Home page I the ribbon is ok only on the home page and i like that it scrolls away when i click something like the reading plans. Alpha 4 seems

What did you copy across and from where to get the resources over? Also what is the scan command you ran and where to i find it in L4? if you could help me out I'd really appreciate it

I suggest you try the demo before buying I have found VMWare Fusion 3 and Parallels 5 about as slow as each other and not impressed. They are not bad but Logos 4 is not fast on either on a macbookpro 2.33ghz
