  • Re: Mac & VMware & Logos 5 for Windows

I've run Logos in Fusion and had no issues but I do have 16GB RAM. The main issue I would foresee is do you have enough hard drive space and Ram. If you have both of those you should be good. I would set the VM up with a minim of 4GB RAM.

  • Re: Prayer list on mobile devices

It is sad since this is one of the features they promote with FaithLife and the ability to have group/shared prayer list. I know it's still in beta but it's hard to convoke people or groups to use faithlife.com for a church or a group when some of the functionality that would be key in a group does not work across mobile devices. Sakarias, this is the

[quote user="Kevin Byford"] [quote user="Integ"] I put my highlights in separate note files based on resource. In the Logos app, my setting is the “Most Recent Note Document. ” As a result, I need to check to see which note document that the highlighting is set to before I apply a highlight. In the highlight pop-up, this is way at the bottom, out of

  • New resources on Vyrso Website

Just noticed that there are a lot of books from Charisma House publishing on the Vyrso website that do show up on the regular Logos website.

  • Re: Mobile Ed video error

David, I am having that problem sporadically. What I do is select another video and once that one loads I go back to the other and it plays. I've already mentioned this as a bug in the forum. It has worked a little better since I closed Logos and reopened it after the download and restart. I've been trying to go through the Logos Academic Training and

  • All courses don't open the same type of resources using the Courseware under the sidebar

When opening the courses using the course title under courseware in the sidebar only the OT101 opens both the document and the videos, the other two just open the document.

The Logos Academic Training Module doesn't appear in the Sidebar under courseware on the Home Page. The OT101 Introducing Old Testament: It's Structure and Story Does. I would like to think that all courseware would appear under the Courseware in the Sidebar.

I've just downloaded the first part of the mobile Ed and start going through the LT151 Logos Academic Training and notice some issue with the video playback. 1. When selecting a different par of the video timeline to go back the video just gave me the spinning or loading icon. I had to select a new video and then go back to this one to get it start

m.Ed makes perfect sense to me. Todays younger generations are used to acronyms and a . syntax. I really don't see how it could get confused with a M.Ed. If you look at companies today and examples of branding and product identity they use it makes perfect sense. Of course some people will get confused, they always do. You could call it Logos Non-Gereee

[quote user="alabama24"] Hey Josh! The trouble with that solution is that Apple is very strict about how apps can access outside data. It isn't possible for Logos to allow file transfer via WiFi or Bluetooth. There are some apps which can access data via syncing through a wired iTunes connection... But that would be very techie for most users. Also

My reading plans are not syncing to L5 Mac. They are synced across all the different iOS apps on my iPhone and iPad. They also sync correctly on Biblia.com but they do not sync to L5Mac. Any ideas?

[quote user="Is Mebin"]As far as Pentecostal material goes, I'd be more interested in reading up on Branham, John G. Especially Smith Wigglesworth, for a more historical perspective

Roger, I haven't used the Android version. I have the iPad myself and love it. I mainly use the iOS app for consuming as others have said. I use it for daily reading, devotionals and during service as my Bible and for note taking. You said you have an MBP and one thing to consider is that the iPad work seamlessly with it (yes I know the Android tablet

Aaron, while it makes sense that the commentary is the reason for the cost it doesn't make sense for me to pay for a subscription to a commentary that is constantly being updated. The commentary might be from a different theological background than what I believe. While there are some commentaries that are denomination/belief independent and are enjoyed
