  • Re: What's so wonderful about having an iPad for Logos?

I just got a 32 GB iPad2. One of the main reasons was for reading with the Logos app. I have a lot of books in my Logos library that I would like to read but just don't like extended reading on a laptop or having to tote it with me. Well today I spent 8 hours traveling and was able to do quite a bit of reading on the plane and while waiting between

I have been using L4Mac since the early Alpha stages. While I wouldn't necessarily call myself a power user I have really had no problems for some time using L4Mac. I have a 2009 MPB w/8GB Ram. I have been booting into 64bit Kernel for quite some time. I have see the speed for searches improve occasionally it dies seem to rum slow. this is usually when

  • Resetting of downloaded books

It seems like every time I download a new version of the iPhone app it resets the books I want to have downloaded and I have to go in again and select them for download again. This is very frustrating because sometimes I am out and don't know my downloaded books are no longer downloaded, like when I'm on an airplane and now none of the downloaded resources

  • Re: Export to Word... but Not Pages?

I would also like to see an export to pages. There is a reason I use a Mac and don't use Microsoft products. I don't know about Pages handeling of hebrew it is the word processor I use. Why make a Mac product if you are going to tie us to Microsoft?

  • Re: Pdf to logos supported format to be read in the software

I would prefer that Logos go with something not based off of Microsoft Word. I use a Mac and am not a fan of Microsoft (hence using a Mac). I have Pages and can save a document as .doc but not docx. So if PBB imports only .docx from Microsoft it will be useless for me. I might as well make them pdf or epub format. Epub is an electronic publication format

it's funny that the whole world seems to be up in arms because Apple wants to charge publishers 30%. There is an interesting article (see link) that explains how Amazon and Barnes & Noble charge much higher rates than that but no one seems to worry about that. This has gotten blow way out of proportion. read the article. How will Apple's policy effect

Since most people, according to the research and class I have had indicates most North Americans learn visually and retrieve information from their brain visually, it makes eminent sense to utilize this graphical tool to teach spiritual truths

I'm very interested in Proclaim. As for cloud computing everything is starting to shift that way and I believe Logos is trying to look forward in developing this. As a small Church that has just started we have a very limited budget but with the price I've seen for other worship software I believe Logos can come in with a very good price and I believe

Sam, I did quite a lot of research before moving to AMc over 2 years ago. I provide IT support on my job and have been supporting windows for over a decade. One of the main reason I switched is I was so fed up with all the issues with Windows. When I came home I don't want to be doing tech support for my family. With the Mac it's very simple. When I
