I was wondering if we are making any progress on this. Evidently the same thing happens with ANY text (like a Mobile Ed course) that has a field for typing in answers.

I really CAN replicate this on command. I just now opened this layout on my iMac desktop, and made it crash. I attach the crash report normally sent to Apple. 4382.Logos_Crash.txt

My bad on the terminology. I've been using Logos since 1995, but our school adopted Accordance a few years back. Workspace is Accordance talk. I'm loving Logos, despite these crashes. My favorite update in L9 (so far) is the ability to add graphics to Notes. As to scaling, BBG 3rd Ed. Workbook was set the way it is, because I teach 1st year Greek in

The screen capture video above did not have my narration, so I created another screen capture video with the microphone enabled. https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cY6viUsB9O

I have a workspace (BTW, just upgraded to L9 Collection) where I have Mounce's 4th edition of BBG , a UBS5, a BDAG and the BBG 3rd edition workbook (I just ordered the 4th edition yesterday, which is on Pre-Pub). I can make Logos crash at will, if I position myself in the Workbook, and scroll too quickly to another place in the workbook. To keep it

The structure I am looking for is both attributive structures: 1) Art, Participle, Noun 2) Art, Noun, Art, Participle An example of the first would be ὁ ζῶν πατὴρ (John 6.57) An example of the second would be ἡ ὁδὸς ἡ ἀπάγουσα (Matt 7.13). I am wondering which is more used in

Just got my Greek Verb Revisited , which was on Pre-Pub. Started reading it already. Going to a meeting tonight, and wanted to continue reading it on my iPad, but it is not showing up on the iPad yet. Is there a way to force a sync on the iPad app?

My mystery has been solved. Sorry for the confusion. I made many of my annotations/highlights in the NA27 text. I've been using UBS5, and copied the corresponding highlights from NA27. Any new highlights I make on the UBS5 text can be erased either by getting the highlighting palette on the screen and clicking ERASE, or by using the keyboard shortcut
-
I create manual highlights to the Greek text to help my students see certain things. In the past, I have been able to erase previously made highlights via one of two different ways: if I have the highlighting tool present on the screen, I could select the previously highlighted text and click Erase (see attached image). I could use a keyboard shortcut

I see that Michael Aubrey responded to the thread on Nerdy Language Majors that Lexham is aiming for a concurrent release.

Granted, the Logos 7 forum may NOT be the proper place to ask this question. I have Runge's The Greek Verb Revisited on Pre-Pub. It is still listed as "Gathering Interest" on the website linked. Just a few minutes ago, I saw a post on Facebook group "Nerdy Language Majors" about preordering the book on Amazon. The Amazon page shows that it is set to

Thanks NB.Mick and Bradley. I missed that earlier discussion. I went to Resource Panels to set my Copy as Location to L4. I don't use PowerPoint much in class anymore. Usually the only thing on my screen is Logos, so I like the direct link. I appreciate your help! Blessings!

I was a long-time MS-DOS user, but I had graduated to Windows by the time I first used Logos (Version 2). About 3 years ago, I moved (kicking and screaming!!) in the Mac world (I still use Windows computers too). When I saw that previously created LINKS to some resources I had created for use in PowerPoint no longer worked, I almost threw my first MacBook

Thanks, Graham. By arranging BDAG entries as an outline, and putting the check mark in "Emphasize active references", it really makes BDAG easier to use.
-
Hi! I just watched Mark Ward's post about making BDAG easier to use by selecting "Outline Formatting". Near the end of his video, however, he talked about using "Links to open panels". I don't have that option in my resources. I see that this goes all the way back to 2014. Here I am in 2016, and I can't find them. Is there a setting in Program Settings

Thanks for your help, guys. After I used the "Active Monitor" to force stop the indexer, and started Logos 5 up again, it began indexing. When finished, the Visual Filters worked fine. I appreciate the link taylored to Logos Support for Mac. I got my MacBook in August. I frequently help students with "things Logos," and having both Windows and Mac has

I haven't heard back from the student, but . . . I went to his Active Monitor, and saw the Logos Indexer still running, even though there was no icon anywhere. I used "Force Quit" on his Logos Indexer, then quit the Logos program. When we restarted Logos, it began indexing. I am fairly certain that the Visual Filters should be working now. I'll report
