• Re: Suggestion - Linkset to the Atlas

I wish this was available for the Logos 5 Maps so users who are offline could have maps that follow with events of the Bible. Second using Logos 5 maps it would be great to double click on a place in the Bible and the Logos 5 map would zoom in to that location.
this is a nice feature--I've used it before and do appreciate it.
Rick: How did you get the map to default to Paul and Barnabas on Cyprus. When I link my bible to the map and type in Acts 13:1 I get the Map for Biblical World-the Early Church. It doesn't seem to default to biblical events maps first. I tried both

In my opinion Rose Maps are far better than Zondervan. There are more maps and they stick with local events better. Rose Maps have many of the Carta Bible Atlas Maps which is the top of the line Bible Atlas. The New Moody Bible Atlas would be my second choice.

I think biblical Place Maps could go from a Ok resource to a great resource with a few changes. Like a commentary list all the scripture verses related to the map event so you can link your bible and it will automatically scroll to the right event map. When you in the Bible double click on the city and the map will automatically zoom in to the location

The New Moody Bible Atlas has a nice map of the Mountains and Rivers of Palestine. It would be nice if someday we would be able to search for these places in other maps and atlases. So Factbook would include the New Moody Atlas places.

  • Re: Jesus tagging missing in 91 places
I'm failing to understand your logic that assumes this is an error. For example, in the first case, Matthew 1:16 , the text is saying that Jesus = Christ ... i.e. two independent terms refer to the same thing. Why would the two terms intersect when they occur in separate phrases? If you look at the Information panel for Christ

Person Jesus- should be inclusive of all terms referring to the Second Member of the Trinity- (including all references to the Messiah (the Christ). The purpose is so I don’t have to remember all the various titles for Christ in the Bible. The same with the person God and the person Holy Spirit. Christ- a subcategory of Jesus and refers to all

  • Jesus tagging missing in 91 places

I tried a search on all the names of Jesus in the book of John and discovered there were many names that were not tagged. I assume the Large and most comprehensive tag of the 2nd member of the Trinity is <Person Jesus> but I found the tagging missing in many places where the <Person Christ> is named. So I decided to run a search on the places
