Please note that I had the map limited to a fairly small window in the application. It could have been placed in a larger window or made full screen if desired in order to see a larger area of coverage.
Although I like the functionality of the map showing the place in red I would rather have it zoom in to the city
John, here's the behavior i'd like to see in Atlas: when you bring up the context menu (right-click) menu on a place name in the Bible select the event on the right side select Atlas on the left then Atlas should display the best map for that event (if there is one). Currently it displays the relevant era map (like "Life of

Actually what I have introduced here is something new that I did not mention in the prior thread. The frustration of not going to the contextual map as a first resort when you are in a passage. In the prior thread I mentioned other issues 1. Biblical Place Maps- Fix the Zoom Level (My original issue) 2. Having Maps in other atlas that deal with the

Well I decided to start a new thread because the shift was now on Logos 7 Maps. In the old thread toward the end I was simply responding to Adam's questions in the thread. Some times here on the forum people are encouraged to start a new thread when the issue is not exactly the same.
What are you hoping to achieve when you've already had feedback in your Waldo thread ?
My Waldo thread was focused on Biblical Places Maps and the Zoom Level. and here is the response from Adam Borriss: John, I'm sorry this is frustrating you. We spent a significant effort last year improving the maps experience in

Maps should be simple and easy to use. 1. They should work hand in hand with your favorite Bible 2. They should go to the contextual map dealing with the city in the passage 3. They should zoom in on that same contextual map to the city selected in the Bible I ultimately would like to single click on a city and the right map for that context will show

Yes the map should go directly to the event and place mentioned in the text. In your case Jesus' Last Trip to Jerusalem, Up to the Triumphal Entry instead of Biblical World-Life of Jesus. It appear that all the maps are going directly to the major big picture map. They should go directly to the event map and zoom in to the city.

As a recall someone developed a macro for broken footnotes in Word. I have Word 2017. Here is the Document with footnotes but they do not pop up when you scroll over them. 2678.Arguing for the Rapture.docx

5. You could also create a visual filter that lists all the cities on the Maps in Biblical Places and they would appear in your favorite Bible Translation.
I'm not sure I understand this one. I think what you are saying is that you want the option on the map to change the place

4. Allow other contextual maps to appear bellow so you can pan and zoom in on those maps. What they had prior but took away. Now it jumps to the page in the book of the Atlas and you have to copy and paste into PowerPoint.
I'm sorry, I'm not follBwing this one at all. [/quote
We don't plan to invest any more in the Logos 5-era "Biblical Places" resource, but I would welcome any feedback you have about Altas.
I should of listed this as a bug because this is a feature that worked at one time. I am not asking for a new feature but simply to fix what was broken before. Some of

Isn't the point of Control Find "to Find"?

I am still frustrated. Called customer service and the nice lady said it was technically working as designed. Have you ever tried to explain something to someone and they just didn't get it!

Would still like to hear from someone from Logos.

Would like to hear from somebody at Logos to recognize this is a problem and to let me know if it is on the list to be fixed.

Can anyone else confirm this problem with the zoom level?
