• Mouse over highlight

How in the world do I shut this off? I don't recall this ever happening until just recently. I'm on the annual plan so the program updates automatically and one day it just started doing this. If my mouse pointer passes over the word "and," every other instance of the word "and" on my screen highlights. I. Hate. That. So. Much. It doesn't matter if

  • Re: Compare Bronze packages

Thank you to all who replied to me! I just didn't scroll down far enough on the page. As you say, there is a selector box that shows me what's new with the upgrade. Got it!

  • Compare Bronze packages

I presently own Logos 6 Reformed Bronze (plus I've unlocked some other specific books here and there). As I understand it, these are my upgrade options: 1. Buy Logos 7 feature set, for $211 and change. 2. Buy a Logos Now subscription, $99 a year. I understand how that all works. And if I choose either, I can continue to use the library I have right

  • Reasonable expectations for "development?"

I ordered the pre-pub for the 2015 Reformation Study Bible notes and it's been "under development" for more than two months now. What is a reasonable time period to expect something to be under development? (Other electronic bible study apps have been able to get the 2015 RSB out the door already. *nudge*)

  • Alias icon on Mac OS dock?

I'm running Mac OS X 10.10.3 on a current generation MacBook Pro with Retina display. Today, Logos 6 download 5+ GB of updates and something odd occurred. When I put the Logos 6 app icon on the dock and launch it for the first time, it quickly replaces it with an alias icon (the one with the little arrow in the bottom left hand corner). Now it isn't

  • Re: Logos 5 not downloading resources

Well...never mind! After a long pause (about 20 minutes) of leaving the program open, it suddenly started download 6.27 GB of updates! Hehe. I would say that my library is on the way.

  • Logos 5 not downloading resources

I recently replaced my primary hard drive in my Windows desktop computer (installed an SSD--love it!). As part of this process, I've had to reinstall all of my applications. I've reached the point of reinstalling Logos 5. I downloaded the latest Windows installer from Logos.com. I ran the installer and everything seemed normal. When the installation

  • Re: Two finger scrolling

While I also applaud the new scrolling, I want to note that it would have been better to use a single finger for scrolling and move the swipe to the two finger gesture. Or at least give us an option to reverse them. That would make the Logos app behave in a more standard iPad app manner. Regardless, the effort is appreciated. But there is always room

  • Cannot create a group

Trying to evaluate the Proclaim software for use at our church, and I am unable to create a group. I tried using the Proclaim application, and it just said unable to connect to groups server, over and over. So I clicked on manage groups and came to the logos.com web site. I was logged in, no problems there. I clicked on Start Group, filled out the information
  • Font sizes, PC to Mac and back

My desktop computer is a tower running Windows 7. My carry with me computer is a MacBook Air. I have Logos 4.5 on both platforms. On the Windows version, there is an adjustment for Program Scaling and another for scaling in the Font area. If I set the FONT scale to, say, 140%, some books honor that but many (most?) do not. For example, the NASB95 bible

  • Re: Logos 4 Bible Software has stopped working

Commenting in this thread, because I'd sorted out my problems in a different one, but if anyone lands here I want them to hear what fixed it for me. I started the program in Diagnostic mode by holding down CTRL as I launched it, and I selected use a Blank Layout. I then re-created my layout, and everything is fine. So it was something in my layout that

  • Re: 4.5 update problem

Here's what worked for me. I opened the program in diagnostic mode (hold down CTRL and launch the program). I selected the check box to use a blank layout. I recreated my layout. Everything seems fine. I saved the layout on the one computer, repeated the diagnostic launch and blank layout on the second computer, then loaded the freshly created layout
Since others have been having problems with antivirus software have you looked into that? I know the symptoms are different but perhaps it is worth a check. Webroot and Avira seem to be the culprits. If you have either of those I'd definitely check. (I'm using Norton w/o any problems.)
I run Avast! as my antivirus

  • Logos 4 Bible Software has stopped working

Or, so Windows 7 says. :( I have Logos 4 Windows installed on two computers, my desktop and my laptop. Today, each of them downloaded an update, and each of them has stopped working. No error message, nothing I can see. I start the program, it comes up and shows me the screen and then freezes. On both computers. I uninstalled it and am reinstalling

  • Re: Is there a version currently available that works on a MAC OSX10.5?

Joel, I run Logos 4 on a 2010 MacBook Air under OS X 10.6.6 and it works perfectly. I also access Biblia.com from Safari on that same Mac, and again it works perfectly. If you're having issues, they aren't related to "the software doesn't work on Mac." Good luck! I'll be happy to answer any questions that I can, but I'm not a Mac expert. This Air is

  • Long time Logos user, just bought a Mac

I've been a Logos user for ages now, recently moving up to Series 4. I have a Windows 7 desktop computer, but I just replaced my aging Windows laptop with a lovely MacBook Air. I was able to run Logos 4 on both my desktop and my laptop (I never used them both at the same time, for obvious reasons). I hope to do the same thing now. My question is this

I'm also having the same trouble. Since it's affecting multiple users, it must be something on their end. It'll be corrected soon, I'm sure.
