• Bug: Beta 9 Passage List Print/Export

First of all, thank-you for fixing the problem of the duplicated text references in the passage lists. The display is now much cleaner without all those unnecessary extra references. However, there is now an additional problem which so far as I can tell just came up with Beta 9. I have a passage list containing about 150 references from the NIV. I've

  • Re: More keyboard shortcuts in Rich Text Editor please

I did a little more digging, and in addition to the "autoformat" function, there is also a regular keyboard shortcut for bulleted lists in MS Word, it's: Ctrl + Shift + L. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290938 for more detail. I don't see an equivalent for numbered lists in document linked above, but perhaps something appropriate can be used.

  • REQ: Title of resource in header or footer

The new print/export feature is wonderful. If I print from a resource, the footer will say "Exported from Logos..." plus the time & date. That is also appreciated. However, it would be very handy if we had the option to include the title of the resource as well in the footer, or possibly as a header. Whatever may be aesthetically most pleasing, my basic

  • Re: More keyboard shortcuts in Rich Text Editor please

If I may, I'd like to pick this topic up again. At the time I initially wrote, we could not find a simple keyboard shortcut which was used commonly elsewhere. In the meantime, though, I have discovered that OneNote has a keyboard shortcut for bulleted lists (Ctrl + period) and for numbered lists (Ctrl + /). If these keyboard shortcuts were integrated

  • Old Bug: Pasting Note text into Powerpoint 2007

Hello, This is not a bug new to 4.2a Beta 5. Rather it's been around for quite a long time, but I thought I'd mention it in the hope that it might be fixed in the 4.2a beta cycle. Steps to reproduce: 1. Make a note in Logos 4 and include a Scripture reference, which turns into a link, and then continue typing some regular text after that. Then start

  • Re: Bug: sort order of notes in beta12

Yes, I am also able to confirm that this is a problem. It would be wonderful if this were fixed. I have an exegesis layout which has both an English Bible (NIV) and original languages (NA27 & BHS) open. As I'm doing my exegesis work, and taking notes, I have not always been conscious of whether I add a note to a certain text reference via the NIV or

  • SUGG for 4.0c: "Copy to Clipboard" in Search Results Drop-down

Hello, 4.0c Beta 1 has introduced a "Save as Passage List" option to the search results drop-down menu. Now that that code is in place, could you also include another option, possibly right below it, called "Copy to Clipboard"? Let me explain my reasoning. Let's say I'm studying Gal 5.20 and I'm focusing in on the word εἰδωλολατρία. I do a quick search

  • Re: Limiting Search to Range... Repeatedly
If you open the search window independently and keep it open, it will retain the range limit.
Thanks for your help. I'm glad to hear it is possible, but could you please give some more detail on the steps involved? I've tried opening another search window, and even turning off the "Send searches here..." option, but

  • Re: Searching by Stem (Hebrew and Greek) aka cognate search

Precisely! I was thinking the very same thing this past week as I was busy with exegetical work. Undoubtedly Logos is busy now working on those "missing features" that need to be implemented yet. But when time & resources allow, this would certainly be a worthwhile project.

  • Re: Bug: Notes doesn't recognise Bible verses when they are followed by a parenthesis and a period

Hello, Just wondering if there is any update on this bug. More than a year has transpired. I use notes extensively and frequently put Scripture references in parentheses, so this issue comes up a lot. I know Logos has a lot on its plate, but is the fix for this any closer to being delivered? Thanks!

  • Bug (sort of) - Passage Lists

Hello, In a passage list there is a little box called "Reference" which can be used to add new verses to a passage list. This is a handy feature. However, if I type in a reference that is already in the list somewhere, then even though I hit "Enter" to add this verse, nothing happens. For example, let's say I already have Col 1:16 somewhere up there

  • CRASH Logos 6 SR 3 on Windows 8.1

Here's what I did: Ran a new "Search everything" in a Basic Search on the word redeem; default Bible is ESV Once the search results populated I click on "Search Bible" at the bottom of the first section to get more results from the ESV on the word redeem. Logos 6 crashed. Tried it again with a different word, justify, and it crashed again. Hopefully
It is possible we could make Reftagger available earlier, and we can look into that. Can you provide a few links to pages where Reftagger would be useful that we can use for testing when we get to that point?
Hi Bob, We'd be happy to help you with testing.
This is not fixed in Beta 3
Do others have the same experience of Fred, i.e., that it's not fixed? Or did Beta 3 improve things for some? Please note, going by the release notes, it seems to be a Windows only issue. I'm not on the 6.3 Beta right now, but I am eager to see this issue resolved because I run into it every

  • Still Delay in Displaying Ranked Search Results

This issue could also be posted in the General Logos forum because it is still there in 6.4 which has now been released. However, since the discussion started in this forum ( https://community.logos.com/forums/t/101889.aspx ) I thought I would continue it here. I am still experiencing a delay in the display of certain search results. I should immediately

Sure, I'd be more than willing to do that. What's the best way to do it? I haven't really done a screencast before, but I suppose it's not hard to learn.

  • Re: Still Delay in Displaying Ranked Search Results

OK. I figured out the screencast. Below are two of them to compare and contrast. A few things worth noting: Both searches are done in my Reference collection, which is a group of key dictionaries and encyclopedias that I commonly use. It has a total of 57 resources in it, so it's not an overly large collection. Each time I did the search immediately

  • Re: BUG: Search delay

I, too, have noticed this delay and spoken to someone in tech support about it. As you say, it is only with the Basic search and not with the Bible search. Hopefully, they will come up with a solution soon for it introduces a frustrating lag in the general workflow.

  • BUG: In Notes apostrophe cancels text formatting

Hello, Thanks for the new Notes Editor. So far it works very well and I'm thankful to see improvements are already planned. I've noticed one glitch. If I add any text formatting while typing (bold, italic, underline) and then type an apostrophe (or quote mark) then the editor automatically cancels the text formatting without any further interaction
