• Re: Creating a New Series of Commentaries

Keep Smiling, I like the idea of a custom dictionary series, that is a great idea! I'm doing that! Random question, do you know whether it is possible to change how a title is sorted by type? I have a few monographs that I would prefer to be sorted with my other Systematic Theology titles. Are tag/series/collection the only workarounds? Thanks.

  • Re: Aramiac Interlinear
Of the Aramaic documents found at Qumran, the notable ones are the Aramaic Enoch scroll and Aramaic Tobit scroll. The discovery of those 2 books in Aramaic confirmed theories long held about them as being originally written in either Aramaic or Hebrew before being translated into other languages (i.e. Ethiopic, or Geer

Well said. My most used app on iOS is a markdown note taker called Draftrs4. It isn't pretty to look at, and it sure isn't Ulysses, and yet, I use it every day. Why? It is fast, efficient, and does what it claims to do well. The list goes on. Evernote > Onenote todoist > OmniFocus Thunderbird > Outlook Atom > Sublime I'm sure the community

  • Re: For those that have used Logos for a while...a question

My only regret about going 'all digital' is that I did not do it soon enough. I have two bookcases full of books that I rarely ever touch and find myself wanting to rebuy the good ones simply so they will be indexed by logos. One thing I do struggle with though is a way to use Kindle and Logos together. I have some great books on Kindle but struggle

  • Re: 40% off Geisler's Systematic Theology

Yes, as a card-carrying member of the Dutch Reformed church, Bavinck is strictly Reformed. Though again as a member of DRC he took his cue from the Heidelberg Catechism, other Reformed Systematic theologians these days (Like John Frame, for example) tend to follow the Westminster standards, if they subscribe to a creed/confession at all. A couple of
As a father of four young children, two of whom use Logos on mobile devices occasionally, I've been thinking about products for children and families. We're exploring a few ideas and may start testing some in Q3. We're considering group licensing of certain products to a Faithlife family group, so everyone in your

Great question J. Erik and a very interesting point of conversation. It may be tricky getting an answer here as the Forum rules are very tight on these kinds of topics. However, I don't doubt you'll get an answer over at https://hermeneutics.stackexchange.com . Make sure you read a couple of questions before posting, they have a bit of a 'set style
Thank you Mark! You not only gave me a fish, but taught me how to fish better in the future by providing the search you used - I really appreciate it. Any idea why Judas the Galilean would have revolted if he didn't need to pay the tax anyways? Or was his revolt actually successful?
I could be mistaken, as don't have reference
I comfortably Protestant and evangelical (if that term means much anymore), but I find this post disturbing. If you pay any attention to the Catholics who post on this forum, and some of whom have produced some excellent Bible study training for Verbum, then you will witness people who are passionate about the historic
We've just
Frankly, at 30% off it is still overvalued, IMO. I also feel like I am being held hostage by the collection not being broken up. I have opted to buy this elsewhere, and have notes old school style.
My issue with bundles is a very simple one - disposable income. I simply do not buy bundles because I do not have
