• Re: 2020 revision of CSB text
I would assume that the updates will occur this year, but perhaps not.
Oh, dear. I hope it wouldn't take longer than a couple or few weeks. I know FL has a lot of stuff to be doing, but these are minor revisions to a major translation. (And these are officially published, as far as I can tell. The CSB online version

Does anyone know when these changes will be released by LifeWay? By Logos?
...int[r]o to each book...are missing.
I think the intros to the books are found as an asterisk beside the title of each book.

  • Half-Brackets Missing in Newly Released Evangelical Heritage Version (EHV)

The EHV was just released late yesterday. I am so glad it is finally here! However, I have already noticed a consistent error. In many of the places in the Old Testament, there are supposed to be half-brackets around some sentences, showing that the enclosed portion is not found in the original Hebrew, but rather the Septuagint. The first example is

  • Re: Robert Letham's Systematic Theology

So, I see that this book is supposed to release today. When in the day do resources tend to be released? I want to start reading. :-)

  • Re: Robert Letham's Systematic Theology

That makes sense. I just figured that in a day when a lot of these resources are already put into electronic format at the same time as the print by the publishers themselves, and given the fact that this book has had an advance copy out for while, that Logos would be close on the heels of Crossway, "value adding" not withstanding.

  • Robert Letham's Systematic Theology

So, I saw today that Letham's Systematic Theology by Crossway has arrived in bookstores such as Reformation Heritage Books. Is there any word on the Logos edition's release? I figured it would be timed fairly closely to the printed book's release. All I can see in the product description is "In Production," which is very vague, and I am very impatient

  • LEB - Random Contractions?

The LEB is an excellent translation, but it has one quirk that annoys me. In a translation virtually devoid of English contractions, the LEB uses contractions in at least 21 places (there might be more): "didn't" in 1Ki 15:5 "don't" in 2Sam 9:7, 13:28, 17:16, 24:14, 24:24; 1Ki 17:13, 18:23, 18:25, 18:40; 2Ki 6:16 "hasn't" in 1Ki 2:23 "isn't" in Gen

  • Re: Dogmatic Theology (W.G.T. Shedd) - No Index

Apparently, the index has been included in this recourse the whole time. However, the reason why I though it was missing is because it has no entry in the table of contents window (it just ends with "Glossary 2: Biographical Entries). This would be an easy fix, no?

  • Systematic Theology by Morton H. Smith

Morton Smith, recently deceased, was professor of systematic theology at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and, before that, Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. He was a giant theologian in the American Presbyterian tradition. He was the first stated clerk of the Presbyterian Church in America, and studied under John Murray, Cornelius

  • Re: CSB Corrections

They are official changes to the CSB made by the translation committee itself. I have seen and read the documents in their entirety with my own eyes. In fact, my father-in-law just sent me the most recent one from this month (dated August 2018). He is making the corrections in the CSB 2017 module even as I type this post.

  • Re: CSB Corrections

Thank you, Mr. Grainger. By the way, please do not take this thread as a complaint; it’s not. I’m just curious as to the policy surrounding module updates, etc.

  • Re: CSB Corrections

The copyright has not changed, but there were corrections made to the body of the text—mostly typos or things accidentally added or left out (not enough to issue a fully copyrighted "second edition"). One example of a change is Isaiah 64:3 which has the relative article "who" that is not represented in the Hebrew, and it also makes the verse nonsensical

Here is the "Support Info": LLS:CSB 2018-06-01T14:53:19Z CSB.logos4 My CSB module has been updated many, many times since Logos released it, but I have never seen the corrections given to me from my father-in-law implemented.

  • CSB Corrections

My father-in-law works for Accordance, and he made me aware of many error corrections that the CSB has released for the past couple years. I have noticed that Logos has yet to implement them; Accordance has. Why is this? Does Logos plan to update the CSB to the correct version soon? There are some serious errors in the original...

  • Re: Works of Van Til - No page numbers???

Mr. Barnes, Thanks for the quick reply. I understand, but it's still very frustrating. I should have read the comments on the product page before purchasing, I suppose.

  • Works of Van Til - No page numbers???

Hi, all. I just purchased the 39 vol. Works of Cornelius Van Til package, only to find out that none of the works have page numbers. As a scholar, this makes the module essentially useless. This prevents me from citing anything! Are there plans in the works to rectify this? Or am I doing something wrong?

Kyle, Okay, I was being a little extreme in saying the resource is unusable. It is still usable. Yes, I could definitely use the search function in Logos (and I most of the time do), but sometimes I want a specific topic, rather than just a word, because some words are far too common to make the search function an easy option; it is easier to use the

  • Dogmatic Theology (W.G.T. Shedd) - No Index

I just purchased Shedd's Dogmatic Theology , ed. Alan Gomes, and the module has no index (at least that I can find)! This severely limits the resource (i.e., makes it almost unusable). I regret to say that I will need to return it unless an index can be added. The print edition has one.

  • Can we PLEASE have page numbers in iOS?

I am sure this has been requested multiple times, but I think it is a little annoying that I still have to go to my desktop version to retrieve the exact page reference to a quote. Yes, I know Logos mobile shows the page number at the top, but that doesn’t help me when I need to know exactly where the quote lies for precise bibliographic purposes
