I am just thinking, that if hardware acceleration is the key point which defines whether a e-ink device is needed - it would be helpful for users to check whether their prospective device supports this, before buying. But if nothing is mentioned, it feels like you got fooled - if you bought the e-ink device, maybe mainly, to be used to read logos resources

I have bought the 8 inch Onyx Boox i86, and can say that the Logos apps doesn't work on my device. But I will look for hardware acceleration - to see if it is possible to toggle it somewhere. Right now it is in for repair, as the page turn buttons didn't work out of the box. Will keep you updated when I get it back. -RS

On your Android support page you even make a deal our of E-ink devices saying: Look for an e-ink device with a full version of Android, with access to our app via the Google Play Store. Such devices are quite new; several have been released abroad, and will be available in the US soon. And the devices mentioned in this thread are Android devices, with

Really, Logos ought to get their act together and update the app, so that e-ink screen android devices can read the Logos ressources! More and more E-ink devices will surface in the future. And more and more E-ink devices will also be Android powered. Simply NOT supporting them is not a viable sollution to an issue like this. And abandoning users on

When I click to open a Bible Passage, I used to have a screen with all the books of the Bible, when after I click, I got a screen with chapters, and then lastly a screen with verses, after which the app would take me to the desired book, chapter and verse. But when I click to open op the picker, I get NO books of the Bible - only a line, where I can

I was waiting for a call back from a tech support guy, but accidentially was on the phone just the two times he tried - didn't have any other calls in the meantime at all - so just very unfortunate. But now after emailing back again saying I was free, to call again, I checked this post again, tried to download the installer again, and it worked without

I think that the problem Logan is experiencing is the same as I am experiencing. Just I cannot seem to find the log files as Logan managed. I found the AppData folder, and the installer under Logos, but no log file. I installed DirectX manually, ran Windows Update, and the BITSADMIN /LIST tool, and found the que empty. Waiting for Logos offices to open

I am expriencing the same problem... There is no log file in any logos folder, as the installer never actually begin installing Logos. The error occurs in the pre-install, during the installation of pre-requisites... Robert

I use a Danish Bible on my deskotop and android app. But on the android app, the Danish Bible is loading very slow. I'd say, it shows the passage from last time, and then the circle goes round and round in the centre, until it has finished loading, but say I am reading out loud for a group, and I then slide for the next page, it just goes blank, and

Same thing here. Doesn't want to start/install or what it is trying to do. Just get the error message as above. It looks to me as if the person above runs a 32bit version of Windows, whereas I run a 64bit version of Win7. But apparently that makes no difference... Hope to find a solution to this soon, as your program sounds promising. -Robert
