• New behavior for "Links to Open Panels" visual filter

In earlier Logos versions, the "Links to Open Panels" visual filter would highlight a Bible verse in a resource if that verse was displayed on the page. It appears that now the word is only highlighted if the verses is the top verse in the Bible (i.e. the one in the location box. In this example, Gal 5:20 is not highlighted in the resource on the right

  • Syntax search does not display matching verses

I am experiencing several bugs with Syntax searches In Logos 6.0b beta 4. A Syntax search does not display any matching verses. Here is a simple example with a single search term in the Lexham Syntactic Greek New Testament: When I run the search, here is what is displayed: As you can see, it correctly finds 5 verses, but does not display a list of verses

  • Re: Bug: Event search fails

I do not understand why a search option would be provided in a pop-up context menu that does not create a valid search syntax. If there is a tag in the text and the tag is offered as a search option in the context menu, then it should create a search that at the least returns the verse that had the tag in the first place. If this is as designed, then

  • Bug: Event search fails

I right clicked on John 3:4 in the NA27. I selected the Even option from the pop-up menu: "Jesus talks with Nicodemus". Then I selected "search this resource". The search produced no hits, even though there is obviously at least one verse tagged this way. Here is the search that is produced by the pop-up menu: I am using Logos 6.0B beta 1.

  • remove book from Kindle

I sent a book from Logos to Kindle (works great BTW). How can I delete it from my Kindle account? I can deletw it from the device, but it is still listed in my Kindle library.

  • navigation failed bugs

I am having frequent problems with version 4.4.4 of Logos. Here are some examples. 1. In Eerdmans Bible Dictionary, if I select an item from the table of contents, it does not change to the new article. There is no error message. I can manually scroll to a new article. 2. In rhe Faithlife notes in the Logos app, if I click on certain links I get the

  • Send to Kindle

I notice that Amazon says they charge a fee for Kindle documents delivered via WhisperNet. I assume this means there would be a charge if you are using a 3G Kindle device that is not connected to WiFi. Does the Send to Kindle feature incur any charges from Amazon if you have a WiFi only Kindle device or app?

  • Lockup - return from hybernation

When I restart the computer after hibernation, Logos locks up for about 10 minutes and slows down the whole computer. When I click on the program window, eventually Windows recognizes that Logos is not responding and asks if I want to shut down the program. I am running Logos 6 beta 1 on Windows 7 x64.
So, can we conclude Harry's using a Logos mobile app and can wipe out his cellular budget in a single sermon, and that's that? Wow.
I have downloaded a number of resources to my tablet to use offline, since I often travel to places where there is no WiFi and sometimes no cell data.
Apps on Android don't have access to that Google Play setting. The setting is specific to the Google Play Store app.
I did not know that. It seems like there used to be an indication within the app that resource updates were available. The Android standard way to do this would be to put a message on the Notification

I use my cell phone as a WiFi hot spot for my tablet at church,, so the WiFi only option would not solve the problem. It is very disrespectful and bad programming to ignore the "do not auto - update apps" setting in the Google Play Store. It ended up costing us for mobile data overage charges.

  • request: turn off automatic update of resources

I don't like that Logos and Faithlife automatically download updated resources that I have downloaded. I have set my phone and tablet to not automatically update apps, so can choose when it is convenient to do so. I understand that Logos wants us to have the latest resources. But I have limited mobile data so I do not want to download except on WiFi

  • Resources in base package families

Is there any way to compare the resources in a base package for a specific tradition (Baptist, Anglican, etc.) to the general base package of the same level. For example, how could one compare what is in the Baptist Platinum to the general Platinum?

Does anyone have a list of all of the resources in Logos 5 Platinum? I know I can view this from the comparison chart on the Logos Web site. But unfortunately when I try to print this page, the blue and grey dots that show the resources in each base package do not print.
