Their model has been and still is selling content, i.e. books

Isn't the solution to all of this simply having a system consisting of buying content with some base of functionality and then subscribing/renting the software at a sensible price? All FL really needs to do is add a Features Only level in FLC for something between 100/yr and 200/yr that makes sense for everyone and lay out their cards that they need
The books just aren't paying the bills.
But from what Bob said, they have been and still are paying the bills. What is changing is that the FL wants more income to grow. That is different. That is why I agree with your assessment that they should just provide a free engine and then charge for additional features. Part
My goal has always been to have a Bible study program running on my computer independent of the cloud
But isn't that possible now? As far as I can tell, the FLC subscriptions don't impede that yet and FL is saying that you will still be able to buy all the new features in future releases. My guess is that there would be

Any update on this issue? I just experienced the same thing. Lost a bunch of highlights and note locations in a monograph. Using Ios 5.10.4.

Yes, good strategy. Yeah, too bad the sale doesn't extend to Google eve, as they at least include original page scans so you can easily verify page numbers. Of course, none of these are as helpful as having the title in Logos with all the reference links etc.

Thank you MJ! I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience. I appreciate your concern and am very grateful for your help. I can't say too much in a public forum, but this involves security issues for our people overseas, and I assure you I would never ask if it was not such an important matter.

Hi MJ, Can I ask you a big favor? Can you please remove our ministry from the 8863.creeds.docx? It is very old and contains some seriously wrong information about our ministry that keeps showing up on Google searches. The ministry initials are YHM and it is listed as located in Woodland Hills. Very grateful for your help! M

  • Resource and Citation question . . .

For the purposes of my grad studies research I have a need to have full citation of all sources used. I am able to find and use the citation information for the book/text without a problem, but how does one determine which page in the text is being referenced? I tried looking in "Help" without any success. I am a fairly new user of Logos 4 and have

Thanks, that did the trick. Ironically, the first 3 books I tried that with must not have had the pages option as it didn't show (but other visual options did), finally found a book with pages listed and it works well. Thanks again!

Having the same exact issue. Made a bunch of notes and highlights yesterday on an Ipad and an entire section of them is now missing and the highlights and notes marked with "unavailable resource." Any update on this? - This is critical for my using the app. I am a Logos Now member. Not sure if what I have is the Beta or not, it is 5.10.4 (5.10.40093
