• I can't highlight any more. HELP!!!

For some reason I can't highlight in L4 any more. Not sure what happened. My process: 1. Select the text I want highlighted. 2. Click the highlight color and style. Result: Nothing! I do notice, however, that one of the three, little overlapping circles flashes (green, I think) when I click the highlighter. But nothing appears on the text. Ideas?

Ha! Brilliant, Dave! That did the trick. Nice one. Here you go, Jason. Ignore the vertical line between the asterisk and "χομαι"; it's the cursor.

  • Re: Searching cognates

Robert and Thomas, When I did the search I got plenty of results, but they were only forms of ἔρχομαι, as in your screen shot, Robert; no cognates. Is there a way to search for all the cognates of a word, such as those mentioned in the original post? Thanks.
Use an asterisk as a wild-card: lemma:*ερχωμαι@* (you can start by typing in english.... g:erchomai, locate the word as it drops down. Then go back and add the asterisks and the morph delimeters you want.
This didn't work for me. Other ideas?
I am working on a Greek Word Study on φρονέω ( Colossians 3:2 ). I need to include cognates and extra-biblical references. I have quite a lot of Logos Greek language resources. How might I best perform this task? Richard, I just tried to make a "close all" button and it didn't work. I typed "close all" in the command box, selected it, then drug it over... nothing. Do you have to execute the command first, before you drag it, because I really don't want to close all my resources right now.

Huh. I knew about the books, but I didn't know about the commands. That's handy. Thanks, Richard.

  • Re: hidden features?

Thanks all. I'm guessing that OP refers to me? Would that be "Original Poster"? I'm not up to speed with forum shorthand. I'll check out the wiki and see what I find. I don't recall it being about Topical searching, but I could be mistaken. Maybe it had to do with tricks; hidden tricks perhaps? I think it was referring to those functions which aren

I think I remember seeing something on the logos blog or forums about hidden features, hidden functions, hidden something (not resources). Can someone point me in the right direction, or do I need to see a psychologist? Thanks.

Is there a way to specify that a specifying modifier is to be only an article (i.e. not a preposition or anything else)?
