Amen, I have suggested it to the CCEF guys (www.ccef.org ). Maybe if more people contact them it would be great. The search tool is weak and I believe that Logos would be perfect for it. Thanks for suggesting it!

Wow! Thanks, that's EXACTLY what I wanted and it's better than expected. It will be easy to implement on many resources not just these two.

  • BDAG/HALOT Visual Filter Lookup

Hi, I finally took the plunge due to the fear marketing (and my gracious wife's Christmas gift) and upgraded to Logos 4. For the most part I'm happy but please please do put in the SmartTags! I run Logos 3 basically for these and it eats up tons of memory. Question for those fellow HALOTS and BDAGGERS out there: I used to run a visual filter so that

  • Re: Missing Microsoft Office Smart Tags for Logos 4.0

I don't quite understand that if they can get it to work under Logos 3, (and it works by all testimonies in Office 2007 - the one I run and even in the beta of Office 2010) the problem can't be Microsoft, they have already opened up the API (Logos is not the only 3rd party software or even Bible software that uses SmartTags). Thus, in my understanding

  • Re: Free LOGOS 4.0 Upgrade

Hi Thomas (and everybody), I'm confused. I have the Scholar's Silver Base package. I did the interactive updater thingme and the cheapest upgrade option to get Logos 4 is $161 USD. It is close to the original price I paid for the Scholar's Silver many moons ago on a very special promotion ($200). I have examined the resources, and, frankly, it hardly

+1 - Smart Tags are a key feature for me. If Logos is not planning on supporting them - or replacing them with something even easier (that doesn't require lots of clicks/switching back forth), I will have to evaluate other options.

Rich, I mean if you want to copy verses into a sermon manuscript - how do you do it? Also, and this is for those who do use Word, does the upgrade to L4 break the smarttags functionality? I thought that L3 separately still works - does the upgrade break the existing smarttag functionality?

Thanks Rich, what do you use for quick access to bible verses? As for the E4 offer, thank you - we'll start with - can you access Morton Smith's Systematic Theology or a Brackel's "A Christian's Reasonable Service"? Blessings, Chris.

Thanks Phil, If they couldn't do SmartTags, I hope they would be able to do something like "RefTagger" for other (non-web) applications. I loved InstaVerse (www.instaverse.com) but I can't get it to work on Vista. So, I have come to depend on Logos' MS Word Smart Tags. Blessings, Chris.

  • Questions about Upgrading

Hi All, I have spent some time going through the threads examining some of the feedback on Logos 4 and it has raised some questions for me, and I wondered if some kind beta-tester or Logos type might be able to answer them for me. In the final final version (2nd Quarter 2010) which is when I'm likely to upgrade now based on the feedback I have read
