I would love to see more of Packer's books in Logos. I am surprise that few of his books are available. Celebrating the Saving Work of God: Volume 1 (J.I. Packer Collection) by J.i. Packer Serving the People of God: Volume 2 (J.I. Packer Collection) by J.i. Packer Honouring the Written Word of God: The Collected Shorter Writings of J. I. Packer by James
As Bohuslav (Love that name -- it's a good Slavic name) noted in another thread, in the meantime someone may have commented on it (probably has). I would say that so long as no one has commented you should be able to edit or delete it. Once someone has commented, however, that's it. No more modification. If you edit or delete
It doesn't look as though they have a lot of high-power scholars in that series.
Ah, i know what you mean you mean scholars from the far left! Hmmm Ted

To get a feel for the Eerdman's Wesleyan Commentary series (E.W.C) those of you who have the Church of God Digital Library http://www.logos.com/products/details/2929 will find the Isaiah and the proverbs volume from the E. W. C there. The series is written by fine Evangelical Scholars who take the bible seriously & will assist preachers in the exposition

After sometime has gone by the "more option" on your right ("more") does not allow one to edit or delete. In the Newsgroup one can delete or cancel one's messages, i would like to see such a feature in the forum. Again let me repeat, it is possible to delete or edit one's post initially via "more" however after a period of time this is no longer the
Unless I am missing the button somewhere, I have not found a way to edit a post that you have already posted to the forum. For example, if you post something and you realise that you misspelled something. Would it be possible to have this as a feature of these forums? Disclaimer: My apologies if this exists and I just

Thanks phillip, great tip. Ted
Thank you for all your feedback here, and I'm sorry it took me so long to jump into the discussion. It doesn't take any time at all to waive a fee for any individual user -- but when you're demanding a new written policy, , it takes a little longer to line up the internal conversation and consensus. Now what is the Leob Library or what is contained in this Library? Ted

You are right George i should have listen to you.
An interesting forum string to read is: http://www.accordancebible.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3161&st=0 If you read from post 7 onwards you will see the discussion about the libronix transfer fee and the 'unofficial' accordance admins response. Yep definately no charges made for transfering of licences. As someone who has
You are right you don't own the resources. You own the license to the resources. As you own the licenses or "copies to" other items in other digital formats. You don't "own" the music you have on CD's/other digital formats or the movies you have on DVD/Blu-rays. This is a big issue the gaming industry as well. Its just
She said that the disclaimer is more geared for people who are looking to sell their library because they don't want it any longer
I remember last year i bought a product from a third party namely the Bible History commentary which at the time was not available or offered by Logos. Later on the Bible History commentary
-
Actually from what I understand Accordance doesn't require a fee to transfer licenses.
Interesting, even better though i think Logos could make an administrative case. Still i do not get this, a product cost $15 but to transfer the license would cost $20. Ted
-
I can fully understand that there would be a transfer fee since there is labor involved for Logos in reassigning the licenses. I think this would best be handled on a flat fee per license basis to cover the employee's wages and a bit of a profit for Logos as well. What I don't understand is that this should be a percentage
If Logos gets around to it, it would be cool to see William Barclay's Daily Study Bible series released on Libronix... or maybe I am on the only one who likes this series!?!
Me too, i have searched far and wide for this i just can't get hold of William Barclay's Daily Study Bible. I second this request and can
I have recently been introduced to Cyril Barber's commentaries. I would like to see these in Logos. I am currently using his commentary on I Samuel (and II Samuel) for both sermon preparation and for a class at RIT (Rochester, NY) on "The Books of Samuel". Thank you for considering this author for inclusion in the Logos
I would like to see Logos addressing that, if it is not properly addressed, I will consider taking my business somewhere else, even if it is just by principle and also to protect my future acquisitions Alain
I could not agree more with you, i think you are right on your take on the retail price. I do feel on this
-
They are transferable but at a fee of 10% of each collection/resource retail price that you want to be transfering. So for instance from how I understand it if you purchased the gold scholars at lets say $1300 then it would be between $130 to transfer it. However that is just if you purchased the disc format, if you chose
