If you go to https://documents.logos.com/ there should be an option under "Actions" for you to "Duplicate" the notebook file. That will create a copy for you that you should be able to edit in the different ways you mentioned.
Miles, Thank you for the quick response and suggestion, that should work perfectly! Thanks

  • NT361 Readings Note Question

Hi everyone! I have just downloaded the NT361 Hebrews Course Readings doc from the course group page and I have the following issues with the reading note/notebook: 1 The notes are fully locked, I can understand locking the text and the resource it is in and the notebook maybe, but I should be able to change the note icon and color, the highlight style
Could we have the option to either: use the same notebook on successive opening of the note editor until explicitly clearing the selection? have the note editor default to use the notebook currently selected in the Notes Tool? Thanks, Graham

we've done some initial work on categorizing denominational traditions and authors, and we're still planning on integrating this data into Library. It didn't make the cut for Logos 8.1: we're still working on it. But it's definitely still in the works.
Absolutely great news!! thank you.
Can you make sure the ESV is downloaded? This video shows you how
Tommy thanks for the video. Yes, the ESV is downloaded as well as NIV & NASB, I can reproduce what the video shows, but, it does not not scroll beyond the reference text in the popup in either direction, that is not what I expected. maybe you would
Sorry - I didn't realise you meant that it could be scrolled before and after the specific reference. I agree this would be helpful and I have seen variants of this discussed in the past. I have no idea whether this is something Faithlife would consider, though. • Scrolling within cross-reference pop-up windows

Scrolling within cross-reference pop-up windows When clicking on a reference link, it would be great if the user could scroll within the resulting popup window to view the entire reference. This would limit the number of times the user needs to select “jump to reference”. This is available in other iOS applications, and it’s a useful
Does this help at all?
Thank you Graham! At least they will be seperated, very helpful. Now my question is, How will it be handled if I create a note and in the note icon setup area, add a highlight to the note icon. Will it create a new highlight doc or just alter the visual with the note icon? Hope that makes sense

  • How will the new notes system affect highlights?

Currently when we create a highlight in a resource a new document/note is created. This never made sense to me, since I use highlights strictly for a visual to draw my attention to a certain text. If I want to make a note I create a "note document" and may or may not add a highlight to bring attention to the note itself in the text. I prefer not to
There is, however, a "How-To" section which - while it doesn't cover the sort of things we are talking about - could presumably be extended to do so. Agreed. Instead of having to hunt for it, wouldn't that be better linked in the window where I'm looking for that help?
I like this idea. Lets see if I am understanding
