Great feature. Almost makes me want a kindle... if only we could get our highlights back into logos... then they'd have me
-
Great book! Still available! Get it :-D

I would love to see "The Divinity Code to understanding your dreams and visions" by Adam F. Thompson & Adrian Beale - Link on Amazon It is an interesting style of dictionary and concordance. I haven't found anything like it in Logos and think it would make a valuable addition.

Loving the new two finger vertical scrolling combined with normal page turn Very smart implementation!!!

Another update from when I was looking around is that e-Ink are going to release the successor to the current version of Pearl (out since 2010) this year. This one is said to only require a full page refresh every 100 pages (as opposed to 6). Arguably it would be much better fitted to Logos Bible software. Sony PRS-T3 is also due out very soon! Maybe

Just saw a new reader called the crema shine that is said to be running android 4. Should be out later this month. How long until it is hacked is the question...

Hunter - he is talking about the use of the song database. If you reuse an item it is fine. If you add a song and use a song from "my songs" then it does not preserve the order which is very annoying! I'm not sure how to change the default either??
-
it is actually aesthetically annoying that the lyrics changes font size depending on how much you are trying to fit onto a slide and can look quite unprofessional I'm looking forward to the ability to manage the song database so that we can have a better master version of songs

This would be a really useful feature. Particularly the ability to restrict access to editing certain elements or accessing certain presentations. Have you suggested this at proclaim.uservoice.com ?
-
I've had problems with this as well. People don't receive an invite when I invite their email (even in their junk mail). However, if they create an account it says you've been invited to join a group.

The planning center is a separate program / website that integrates with Proclaim and is run by a different company. It is not part of the package for Proclaim

Could the web browser (Logos Store) within Logos Bible app on android please be limited to logos domain sites only? Most other applications do this so that it opens an external browser when you go beyond their site. This is a simple fix and would mean that someone cannot use the Logos Mobile Store to have an unfiltered or unaccountable browsing temptation
-
Have you tried a tele-prompter type application that will scroll your sermon at the speed you preach? Very handy. I've seen some good ones on iPad. Here are two I found for android, but haven't as yet found one that can work with word/pdf documents https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.psegina.teleprompter&feature=search_result https://play

Bump... At least give me an indication if this is on your radar. I think it is unhelpful for logos to offer an open browser! Two clicks: follow logos on picasa, google search.
-
I imagine this would be quite an easy thing to do - divert to an external browser. Maybe it would be helpful to only have the mobile site accessible through the app since everyone will have an external browser anyway?
-
I noticed it's gone too. Maybe they don't want as many testers and are working on more experimental things? I'm really happy with the latest build! Editing notes would be a bonus, but I'm just loving how my notes and highlighting transfer across! It is also working much faster!
-
Could you please limit the Logos Store part of the Android application to Logos sites? Currently you can go anywhere as long as you've got an external link from the main logos site (i.e. Picasa or google). I'm trying to prevent un-monitored browsing.

My shortcuts got corrupted again! Little frustrating since I had finally got all the right links there. Logos crashed while I was dropping a shortcut on there and working offline. In order to fix it I had to close Logos. delete C:\Users\Randle Bond\AppData\Local\Logos4\Documents\ftxtsbkn.jvr\ShortcutsManager\shortcuts.db and open it again to re-sync
-
Thanks for the follow up Mark. I didn't actually get the following update from Melissa: [quote user=" Melissa Snyder "] Update: Development says that it does appear to be a corrupted shortcut that is causing the problem. They have deleted your synced shortcut items, and have asked to have you delete your shortcut database file (shortcuts.db) and restart

Great... youversion again offers the opportunity to download NIV2011 for free offline use and we can't even get NIV2011 for online let alone the NIV84. Interestingly the NIV84 is available on Biblia.com but not the NIV2011. What is the deal Zondervan? Purchasing the Kindle NIV version means you can use it on multiple devices!
