I am looking to purchase one of these and I wanted to know, do either of these or both of these work on an iPhone the same way as desktop?
-
Does the UBS fight with critical apparatus work the same as the NA28? Also, does this have the same functionality on iPhone?
-
Is this NA or UBS?
-
so what is it? What software do you use most and is considered essential? for me, NA 28 BDAG NET 1st edition with notes NASB, KJV
-
So the feature set will give me all of Logos 7 uses? If i'm reading correct; whereas, the library restricts Logos 7 functionality?
-
Is there anything that links the church fathers to their quotes?
-
Thanks. I had to back into all my notes and modify them. Maybe its a mobile issue? I typically add notes on mobile and it "auto" attaches to the particular resource I'm in.
-
Is it possible to add a note in a NASB then open a KJV and that note from the NASB be in the KJV?
-
Thanks. I have all that already. I'm looking for the best TR text Logos has to offer so I can compare it to the NA28.
-
In my notes (I called it Study Bible Notes; my own that I'm making). I use the NASB; however, I want to link to verse in the KJV. Yet, when I mouse-over, it always "pops up" the NASB translation.

I'm really looking for something that explains the Jewish culture of the 1st century that links to the text of the NT. So when reading John 4 and the woman at the well, I can read about the Jewish history with the Samaritans and understand why they didn't get along as well. Or how shocking it was that a Rabbi (Jesus) was speaking to a woman in public
-
I was thinking about purchasing the The Mishnah: A New Translation by Jacob Neusner I'm not sure which one to purchase. The purpose of my purchasing is to link back my NT studies to Jewish teachings. So when I read of something in the text; such as, how an orthodox jew would treat a woman in the public, The text I'm reading would link to that source
-
I just want to make sure, that I can click on the symbol in the text to highlight the variant. Then click the Variant for its definition and its manuscript. Are there any links to the actual manuscript like in Bibleworks?
-
Thanks! I love e-sword, but now that i'm getting into the language more, I find Logos easier. I just wish it wasn't slow. :(
-
Curious - which do you prefer? USB 5 or NA28 on Logos; and why?
-
What do you mean and/or how do you execute : " On the desktop, if you're lucky, you can hook a Cited By panel to a Church Fathers series, that periodically footnotes which passage is being used. But it's very arguable. "

Hello. I am brand new to Logos. I've been an e-sword user for about 8 years. Now that there is a free version of Logos I thought I'd give it a try. My first impression is Logos is VERY busy. So I needed to "hide" lots of stuff. Secondly, I'm trying to use Logos to define/research words of the Bible. When I use e-sword, I'm using the NASB w/ STRONG's

I'm currently using printed editions of both of these. I am seeking to purchase an electronic version; however, I have the following questions: Do they both operate the same? The video showing "how to use" NA28 is very good and thorough; however, the UBS5 doesn't have a video showing how to use it. Therefore, is the UBS5 only text, or does it link words
-
Dumb question, first time Logos user. How do I pull up the variants in this on desktop ? I actually figured it out on mobile, but can't find it on desktop?
-
is there anything that can show manuscripts for each text, like Bibleworks?
