Last time I checked there was only ONE fruit and only ONE Spirit mentioned in Galatians 5:22 so either Miller is not in fact providing a "biblically based study" or the copy-editor had one too many of those free lattes ;-S
• Re: Highlighting option???

I understand highligting in the regular view format but in the "reading view" format I don't have those options... at least I don't think I do? Do I? If so how do I access them? In other words how do I access the highlighting menu from reading view?

  • Highlighting option???

Is there a way to highlight while in the "reading view"? If not, can that function be considered in future updates/upgrades? Also why can't highlighting, at least some of the minor highlighting functions, be a "right click" option?

  • Re: Digital purchase precaution...
That's a good reminder, James. Logos is pretty clear about what they can provide where, so it's up to us to read the info as you say. Hope you enjoy Motyer on your Mac/PC anyway. He really helped me get a handle on Isaiah several years ago. And for others reading this thread, he also did the Isaiah commentary in the Tyndale

  • Digital purchase precaution...

Thought I'd post this precaution since I've fallen victim to this on more than one occasion. Be sure to check the availability of the digital resources you are purchasing to your mobile media devices before you purchase them! It will save you a lot of frustration. My last purchase was Alec Motyer’s – The Prophecy of Isaiah. Imagine my surprise and irritation

  • Re: Vyrso & Logos Readers (Android) - What's the Difference?
Vryso is a stripped down version of the Logos reader (to present a simpler interface to the casual reader). There is no reason to use Vryso if you also use the Logos app (that I can see). They both read the same books, and Logos has more features. The one reason I can see having both is if you wanted to access two different
Rosie's taking a break from the forum. Last I heard she was going to re-balance her life some.
I've often wondered about the time and commitment it takes to post so frequently such as those with 2,000, 3,000+ posts. That's a significant investment of one's personal life! I have frequently questioned, how do you do
I loaded the new app from the market and the information says that one of the recently changed features is the addition of the Passgae Guide and the Text Comparison and the Bible Word Study, "accesible from the Reading Views Menu". Well, I cannot find the passae guide or Text Comparison anywhere. Maybe I am looking in

  • Linked Collections

I'm often reading my bible in a split screen mode with the lower screen displaying an associated commentary. If I change the bible text to another book in the bible (or in some cases to another chapter within the same book) I must also change the lower screen book reference in spite of the fact that that book is in the commentary set. For instance if

  • IPad screenshots???

Ok, dumb question time, I've seen several iPad screenshots in the forums within several posts. How are you accomplishing this? Are you posting directly from your iPad or desk/lap top? How are you capturing the image? Thanks in advance for your comments.

  • New iPad!!

I've been playing with my new iPad and enjoying the newness of it for a couple of days. Now the serious work/play begins and I find myself asking is there a users guide for the Logos app? I know it's relatively straight-froward but some things are not so straight forward, for instance if I hit the Library icon at the bottom of the app I get two tabbed
