Yes, this is an iPhone feature that I have been using to read Logos resources to me for about 3-4 years now. Having this as a system-wide option means it will work with any app, like the Kindle app. You also can download different voices depending on what you like.

Yes, I agree as well!

I discovered when I took Greek and Hebrew in Seminary that it forced me to learn and apply English grammar. it was like I learned three languages.
-
I use it a lot because my 60+ year-old eyes have floaters in them and the dark background hides them.

Here's mine. I am glad Scripture leads the list!

Alan, meet M.J.! M.J., meet Alan.!

Hi Alan, Welcome to the Faithlife forums. Even though I can tell you are frustrated, I wanted to know you are welcome here and there are folks that would like to help. I might suggest it would be helpful to know some details about your computer -- processor, type of permanent storage (hard disk drive or SSD), operating system (Windows or Mac) and amount

This is an interesting suggestion. I have put it in my will to donate my license to my church and then the church is to give it to a seminary student, missionary or other individual of their choice.

Thank you for letting us know about this need. I will pray. Just two months ago I lost my 90-year old mother to a stroke. She is now with the Lord.

I got my MBA with 16gb RAM and 512gb SSD. It originally said the delivery window was between January 14-21. Then it shipped and it was updated to January 11, but it arrived January 6th. Gotta love Apple: they under-promise and over-deliver. The laptop itself is great. Logos runs very well on it.
Any chance we can get the book too? https://www.logos.com/product/171387/the-freedom-of-self-forgetfulness-the-path-to-true-christian-joy
If you have the Tim Keller sermon archive, the sermon which was put into this book form is in there.

Joshua, having used Surface Pro devices in the past, I would be interested in the answer to your question. Judging by the threads on the Apple M1 chips here, as soon as the Faithlife team accesses the version of the OS and their own Surface Pro X, we might learn more. Phil Gons got a Mac Mini with an M1 chip in it and provided some responses earlier
When I do my bible reading on my ipad pro 11 and set the scrolling to 1 page at a time (swipe right and left), I get nearly edge to edge text. When I switch to scrolling view (up and down) I get almost an inch of blank space on the right and left. Why?!?!?!?! It is such a waste of screen space and an aggravation to look at

I, like DAL, figured the free book was the Black's commentary, but found it annoying because the link took me to a page of all sorts of stuff for sale. The email created the expectation that was just about a free book.

I wanted to report that using Daniel's latest appimage script, I am running Logos 9.0.0.0168 on my Pixelbook Go, 8th generation i5Y processor, 16GB RAM and 128GB eMMC SSD. This is a Chromebook with the standard Debian Buster container installed using the Linux Beta feature. I may have needed to satisfy a dependency or two when installing (I can't remember

Welcome to the Logos forums. Yes you can change the font size. With a resource open, tap the screen so the header pops down from the top. Click on the three vertical dots to the right in the header and click View Settings. There will be a font size slider you can use to adjust the font size up or down.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I have so much to be thankful for: A stable job A roof over my head Two beautiful daughters More creature comforts than I deserve The Lord Jesus Christ, who loves me and gave himself for me. It's also been bittersweet. My 90-year-old mom went to be with the Lord two weeks ago. I miss her but I am grateful she is now experiencing
This review on Forbes might offer some insight: https://www.forbes.com/sites/patrickmoorhead/2020/11/21/apple-macbook-pro-13-m1-reviewwhy-you-might-want-to-pass/?sh=5846ecf0786a
One of the things this author suggests is that battery life isn't nearly as good as Apple claims when using certain apps in Roseta 2

Having not read this particular book (I would welcome it in Logos), but I am confident with the underpinnings of Packer's theological commitments to believe that this book would have something valuable to say. Packer is not the only theologian to put the word "Christian" in front of a secular concept. John Piper did it with Christian "hedonism." That
