  • Re: Safe to uninstall Logos 4 (Mac) after installing Logos 5 (Mac)

Yeah, I love it too! Unfortunately, it's never garnered me any discounts back in the USA at an Apple Store! It has helped in crossing various European borders, interestingly enough! Thanks for your help, Jack. I've watched your posts through the years & have always thought them insightful. I feel privileged to have you help with my request. Thanks!

Thanks! This is exactly what I needed to know. I installed L5 on Feb. 3, 2013, so it's still installing beside the L4 app, leaving the old one in the Apps Folder. After installing L5, the L4 app will NOT open; it's just there! I'll move it to trash, but NOT AppZapper it! Thanks!

  • Safe to uninstall Logos 4 (Mac) after installing Logos 5 (Mac)

I recently upgraded to Logos 5 for Mac. The installation did not remove Logos 4 from my Applications folder. My new application of L5 is running well. Is it safe to now uninstall my old Logos 4 application. Should I use a more thorough app remover like AppZapper or will that possibly remove portions of Logos 5? Is it saver to just move Logos 4 app to

  • Importing Notes from Libronix to Logos 4 Mac

Is there a way to import my old notes & annotations from Libronix into Logos 4 Mac? I am running Lion OS X and I no longer have Libronix on my laptop, just Logos 4 for Mac. I do have my .lbxnot files stored in a stand alone file. Thanks! Dorsey Budapest, Hungary

  • Logos4Mac on Wife's Machine

When we went through Morris Procter's "Camp Logos" a few years ago in Budapest, he said that our Logos license allowed us to "legally" put our Libronix Silver Scholar on both of our laptops since we were in the same household. So, we've been doing this through the years. However, I was wondering if the same policy applies with Logos4Mac or even Logos

Hey Joe & Jack! I did it … following the input from your second link, Jack, and some of your suggestions Joe! I installed Logos 4 on my Parallels 5 side … and after around 4 hours of downloading & 3 hours indexing, Logos 4 for PC loaded up fine & I was able to give her a bit of a test run. Other than having to run it in Windows, it's quite a piece of

Thanks, Joe! After poking around a bit more, that's what I decided. I'm 6 hours later here in Budapest than Eastern Time, so I hit the hay soon after posting, but not before I checked out your blog … loved it! Great perspectives & insights.. Thanks for the quick reply … and why, Joe, am I not surprised that you replied! You are really active on the

  • Logos 4 Mac & Logos 4 PC (via Parallels5) Sharing LibraryI

Today I installed Logos 4 for Mac (Alpha 12) on my MacBook Pro. It installed perfectly & downloaded & indexed all my new books. ( I upgraded my Scholar's Library: Silver (OC) to Scholar's Library: Silver (LE) — great stuff!). After trying the Alpha version on the Mac for a while I wanted to try Logos 4 on my Windows XP via Parallels 5. However, I'm

  • Re: Logos Mac 1.2.2 now available

Donavan, Thanks for your reply! Sorry for the late response — I usually check the Logos for Mac forum on Saturday morning & last Saturday I was installing Snow Leopard. I totally forgot to check the forum for a reply, but all went well. For me, Snow Leopard is a great improvement.. Mail & Safari are both much faster. Apple did a great job w/ the Snow

Donovan: could you send me instructions on how to boot Snow Leopard in 64 bit? I've just returned home after 17 days of ministry travel. While I was gone, my upgrade copy of Snow Leopard arrived (I serve in Budapest, Hungary, so had to wait for the CD to be brought to me). I noted that you finally upgraded to Snow Leopard, so I will give it a go this

  • Re: What is your most desired missing feature to be included in the next Mac version?

I would most like these features added: Highlighting … in different colors (I really miss this feature, especially the softer highlighting colors that are available in the Windows version of Logos) Note taking … in rich text (like this posting feature) Moving from resource to resource in the same window by using right & left arrows Intelligent copy
