I really like how they are posting screenshots and not just mockups anymore.

Well, I put an iPod touch on my Amazon wishlist, and I dropped a hint to my wife, who should pass the hint onto the family. But if one of you guys wants to hook me up before Christmas, I'm sure my family could find something else for Christmas.
I think what keeps me buying is two fold: Maybe one day I will go to Seminary and will need the tools and finally, maybe there will be a church one day that needs a Sunday School teacher. All the ones I have been to don't need anybody, ever. But, I just have attended three, so my scope is kind of narrow.
And in the
they put a significant amount of money in the production of the app, and at the very least they'll want to recoup that, so I don't see any way they'll offer it for free. But I guess we'll see soon when it appears in the app store.
They put more into the libronix application for the pc, but don't charge for that.

Or on the other hand, a free Bible-reader, library app would generate quite a bit of buzz...thereby introducing quite a few new people to Logos. Also, it could make marginal users see the benefit of expanding their digital library...this seems like it would be more in line with Logos' business plan (I hope :-))
What happens if you have more than one commentary series added to the serial resource associations?
Well as long as each commentary was for a different book, movement out of a commentary's verse range (like from Genesis to Exodus), would switch you to the whatever commentary you marked as a serial resource that covered

This was the textbook I originally learned from, and the one I go back to most often. I know it is also the grammar that RTS Virtual Hebrew Courses work from (so you would already have a large computer-saavy audience who would need this as a mandatory book and may prefer it digitally, since they would be working from their computers).
it'll probably be early next year before it's implemented.
Can you rush it and make it before Christmas?

Great! Glad I could help

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're trying to do (or what it means to have only 1 book open when you "set them up"). Are you trying to make it so that when you open a verse and commentary it will always use NICOT/NT? You will then want to set up all of the NICOT/NT commentaries as serial resources through Tools-->Resource Associations.

This is an excellent book; I'd love to see it published digitally.

yes... On apologetics I would also like to have Reasons We Believe by Nathan Busenitz.

I think the idea of group-work would work best for suggestion of keylinks. But at the same time there are natural breaks in text. Books are separated in chapters, headings, subheadings. Any of these already-made delineations could probably be tagged by topic. When we search by topic we aren't choosing from a predefined set of topics. We just type what

I don't believe that it is possible, although I've been asking for a similar feature for years.
-
I think it would be extremely helpful to use the power of the multitudes...let us topically tag sections (I think this would be a great idea regarding keylinks as well; let us suggest keylinks). Once a critical mass of people have topically tagged a section the same (or keylinked a text the same), it would be assumed to be valid and automatically incorporated

I have spent quite a bit, but I have benefited quite a bit, as has my church. I can think in nothing better to invest in than knowing God more through his Word.
"Let's dream big! If we could do anything we wanted with the iPhone what would it look like?"
You guys are dreaming big and didn't put "Prayer List" on there?

Great point, Thomas. I absolutely echo this request. I will purchase an iPod touch if necessary to take advantage of the app, however. Nevertheless, I would very much prefer to not have to carry a second device to take advantage of the digital library. I am grateful for any move Logos is making to the portable digital library world.

I like Steven Baxley's list
