Richard, thank you very much. The first method worked. It was indeed a matter of indexing. A relatively simple solution, but of great importance to me! Thanks again Hans vd Herik
Glad it worked! God bless you in your ministry!
Richard, Good thinking! Thank you for your

Dear Logos folks, dear Phil, Again, this is taking way tooooo long. I know you all are busy but would you PLEASE consider to lend a helping hand over here. This long waiting happened before when I had problems. Only after making a very loud noise on the forum (the old one) help came finally. Phil, it was you who helped me out when I had problems to
I dont know if you have seen this http://www.logos.com/sesb and I dont know if they are updates versions (my SVV is 1997) if they are updated versions maybe we now have strongs.. Perhaps someone with SESB could check out the Dutch Bibles, and see if they are encoded with strongs now
@ Dominic Yes, I have seen the SESB
Also PBB support should bring back many non-English Bibles into Logos again. Of course it is a second best. The best would be getting all the non-English translations to be available directly from Logos. I believe it is in the Logos best interest to do that. My reasoning is very simple: with Bibles in our languages Logos

But I do not know afrikaans...and I am not aware of any contacts in Suid-Afrika. But..perhaps I am mistaken and do not grasp what you want to tell me. What I

  • Make Logos more international orientated!

I read several posts requesting Bible translations in foreign (non-english from your point of view) languages. Which is encouraging me to write this post. Please make Logos more international orientated. It is just a wonderful tool for it. One little example is time. Over here in Holland we are used to the 24 hours time notation. So 10 PM for me is

  • Re: Is it possible to share Logos 4 resources between Mac and Windows?
Now, to answer the original question. Resources are automatically shared between the Windows and the Mac installations. Even your personal settings are synchronized between as many computers as you use—Mac or Windows. You cannot share resources. Logos will download your resources on both systems. Logos' vision for this area probably is not fully realized yet.
I may be not fully realized yet, I hope they will look into the size it will consume finally. I vote for the

Thomas, I think this is an execellent idea, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't let the fun out. It was and is very tempting to wrestle through the forums to look were the fun is. In the meanwhile I was learning a lot of L4!! So, you folks weren't that bad after all. Not at all! And want to thank you - Thomas, Damian, Philip and others - for all those hours

  • Use the resources on the "Mac side" for the "Windows side" (VMware Fusion) instead of downloading it all again for my "Windows side" on my mac

I am using winXP on my MacBook with the help of VMware Fusion, In L3 it was possible to tell the "windows side" to look for the resources at the 'mac side'. Making it possible to use one set of resources. Now I have installed L4 Mac Apha on my Mac side and have all the new resources downloaded. But there seems no way to tell the L4 windows installer
I installed the evening of release day and have paused/cancelled a few times, but let everything run overnight for the past 3 nights. When I get to my MBP in the morning, the indexer/downloader is no longer running, but when I start Logos, it kicks into high gear again with yet another estimate of 20-40 hours of indexing. [/quote
