It is working fine in on another computer (which didn't receive the last update yet) I have...but I am getting nothing, no matter what I type in there...even one letter is enough to drop it from 1905 resources down to zero.

  • Something wrong in my Library Search

If I click on my Library it will show 1905 resources. But when I search for Genesis or Matthew in All Resources...the count goes down to zero. It was working Thursday. Didn't work Friday. Rebuilt the index, but that didn't fix it. Any ideas out there? Appreciate it.

  • Re: Recommended Commentaries for my Library would you all for me?

I echo the above...but would add that it depends on what purpose you want to use them for. If you are more academically oriented then NICOT/NT and Word Biblical Commentary would be the best choices (assuming money is no object). I would love to have NICOT/NT but haven't been able to justify the price yet...as a Bible translator I used Word Biblical

  • Re: NIV causing crash

I don't remember setting it for the NIV, but going to the NRSV and deselecting it for all resources did allow the NIV to come up. I am also adding the Logos log file. Thanks for your help at least it works for now. 0118.Logos.log

  • NIV causing crash

Anyone else experiencing Logos 6 crashing when trying to bring up the NIV 2011? Mine will crash every time I click on the NIV (whether as a tab in the passage guide or even just going to the library and picking the NIV). I am curious to see if my Logos 6 is just being idiosyncratic or whether there are others who can reproduce this bug.

  • Re: The Complete Library of Christian Worship series on mobile devices

I just checked it out on my Ipad 4 and all volumes are available. The formatting is what you would expect...like any other book, it has hyperlinks in the table of the contents that allow you to jump to the section that you want. Scripture references are highlighted, etc. Really, it looks like a very faithful rendition of the hard cover edition, what

  • Re: Anyone missing Matthew in ACCS?

Thanks Mark...I checked the Hidden Resources first...under Ancient Christian Commentary, ACCS, and Matthew...but it wasn't until it was obviously my problem (since no one else had any difficulty) that I went back and noticed that the name for the ACCS was New Testament I, II, III etc. And that's when I found it. I hid a lot of the Perseus collection

  • Anyone missing Matthew in ACCS?

Greetings All, I cannot locate Matthew in the Ancient Christian Commentary Series (all other volumes are there) on my desktop using Logos 5. I checked for it on my iPad app and then on Biblia.com and it wasn't there either. I did check with Logos to make sure it was part of the series and it was, but the one tech I spoke briefly with was certain it

  • Re: "Christian Theology" by Millard J. Erickson

I love Erickson's systematic theology...he generally takes an irenic approach...looking at various sides of issues and then showing why he comes down on a particular side. As stated, he approaches things from a generally Baptist perspective (he favors a post-tribulation view however). Although it is a large volume, Erickson really is quite readable

  • Re: Favorite Commentaries

In answer to your first question (my top five)...they would be Word Biblical Commentary (more extensive but less conservative), Expositor's Bible Commentary (good all around conservative), New International Greek Commentary, Baker Exegetical Commentary, and the NIV Application Commentary. I also like the Social-Rhetorical Commentary Series. If I had

  • Bug Universalism not university

Hello. Hopefully this is a good place for a bug report. When trying to research evangelical responses to Universalism in JETS I get various non helpful results. University, universal, etc. Evidently Logos 4 (and the Forum website for that matter) does not recognize "Universalism" as a word.

  • Feature Request for hiding resources

Being a Logos member in good standing (ie. I've spent more than my spouse is happy about) I have a ton of resources. (I assume many of you are like me in that regard.) What I would like to do (but cannot currently) is to distribute my resources to two computers differently (as opposed to mirroring them). For instance, on my desktop I want to have virtually
