Don't forget to rename the new reference so it is easy to use again.

Realistically the best we could hope for is Logos 9 would be built from the ground up for Apple Silicon, which would mean maybe better iOS support too.
-
Is there a way to hide all resources of a certain language as a default setting?
-
Thanks for the information Chi Shun Cheung. This is exactly what I need. I have to be selective of my commentaries because I am a student on a budget.
-
David, Thanks for the advice. I am looking into all my options. I have been going to school at DTS, and they have a student package for Logos, but I am switching schools to SWBTS because I need a fully online degree since I live overseas. I have been looking that the Logos 7 sales, and it is a big investment, but I can have similar benefits to what

Josiah: This is interesting to me. I would think it would be easier to get publishers to accept a subscription model. If they could figure out a way to do it like Apple music. Whenever a resource is used a monthly report sent to the Faithlife will allow that publisher to get some money for each use. Also, they could negotiate with Faithlife to allow

Actually, I am a Faithlife Connect Subscriber and I got the E-mail for Logos 7 Essentials (or whichever one it was.). I don't know if we will get any other bonuses, probably not. But that is still a pretty cool deal.

Did not mean to start an issue. Anyway, I appreciated what you both said. M.J. Smith. I decided to pick up the Orthodox package first because it had more new resources for me, and I really wanted to have a beginner collection of early church father readings.

I am on the fence. If this means they are going to continue to slowly increase the Lexham Press books they will let subscribers lease then I think that is a really cool deal. If they slowly and continually update every few months and give us a temporary license to the Lexham Press books that to me is what should be happening anyway. This would be positive

Phil: For me as a beginner user, I would like to see: 1) An advanced search option that helps a beginner select all the power search options without having to remember how to put the code in. 2) Dark mode 3) Maybe add an option for additional users and each user could pick their preferred resources. This could be great for families and also great for

That is interesting. My wife got through and talked to somebody briefly.

Everyone that has been mentioning visual advanced search is speaking my main concern. A nice side panel search with all the advance search codes organized in a logical manner. This could even allow for refining searches.
-
I think the problem is, professional tools don't have to be cumbersome. You could be able to get great results from the software without the need of advanced techniques and tricks. This is somewhat true with Logos, as a newbie I can read books, do simple word studies, write notes and more with Logos simply. However, there are some things I would like

I think I would like a more elegant user interface. It seems much of the power of Logos is hidden behind knowing the command shortcuts. Finding ways to making those more accessible would be great. Also I think a more powerful search tool that easily and elegantly makes searching for resources easier. Again a clean graphical user interface can make options

Do Faithlife Connect Users get the free mobile course as well?
-
I hope they do something progressive with the Faithlife connect subscriptions. I am hoping what you will get to keep your Logos 7 package with essentials and they will give you whatever resources will come with the Logos 8 Faithlife Connect packages. So that we connection subscribers get a bump in base features and new resources.

And this is why the internet is frustrating. So much potentially false information that you can't trust anything. Could it be real? Yes. Could it be a fake, easily. I always ask myself, why would someone like to spread false information even as a joke. Alfred was write: "Some people just want to see the world burn." Ha.

I agree, that the purpose of the Faithlife Connect model is getting most everything Faithlife Connect has to offer at a reasonable price. However, I feel the Essential Package is already pushing the price point of acceptability and that Faithlife should probably adjust all the plans up one bumping all the resources up to the next price level...except

I think Oct. 29th might be too early. However, if you are going to release a new product before the holidays, it is wise to do it around November to try and get the holiday sales that might come from it. Though, I know the company just had a pretty good sale on Logos 7 a couple of months ago, and I wonder if that sale wouldn't bother people if just

I got an E-mail informing me that they are lowering the subscription price to 14.99 and adding 106 resources. First, Thank you Faithlife for adjusting your prices and providing an even more affordable and awesome product for your customers. I believe your prices are becoming not just competitive but also a very reasonable for the content you are getting
