I pre-ordered two of them. I took part to a medical research project as test rabbit and they projected 25 years more for me at 50% probability. That is the main limitation, if I want to read or become familiar with the information in the books. Otherwise I am happy to support Faithlife with purchases, and thus indirectly support the real theologians

If you read news about floods, they tend to be similar to each other. Therefore I think ancient flood stories are not necessarily dependent of each other. I feel this aspect is missing even in the most scholarly books.

I guess something is just missing here, unless (n.d.). has a specific meaning:

Will you find an old LogosSetup.exe in your hard disk? That might do the job.

I have a desktop with Windows 8.1 and Logos 8.17 is the latest version. It won't jump to Logos 9. My laptop has Windows 10 and it has the latest Logos 9 version. Generally it works well. Logos 9 passage guide has an option to classify commentaries, I am missing that in Logos 8. In Logos 9 it is possible to have folders in the toolbar. Logos 8 just ignores

I had a different problem and a different computer (beta testing, Windows 8.1, stopped indexing). I uninstalled, reinstalled, have Logos 8.17 SR-2 now, and it seems to work fine. (possibly faster than before). As I understand, the uninstall also deleted all resources and related files in my desktop, but some information is in the Logos cloud shared

[quote user="Rosie Perera"] But many of us buy packages from different traditions than our own in order to get good deals on a large selection of books. Thanks Bradley for commenting! But please don't lose my original point: the up-and-down movement! [quote user="Bradley Grainger (Faithlife)"] This may be due to updating Community Tags and Ratings. [quote user="Veli Voipio"]But I assume no user is happy with this "feature" so it is time to fix it. I look forward to seeing comments from the FL software team.

I have read read a summary/reference/discussion in Finnish related to this book: https://www.amazon.com/Bethlehem-astronomischer-Sicht-Legende-Tatsache/dp/3765598038/ He supports the conjunction theory but also adds that there was Zodiacal light ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zodiacal_light ) pointing effect helping to find the house. It is speculation

I finally found the right description: it is like trying to hit a moving target ! I could think it as a computer game or software virus, but when it is in a professional program for productive work, it should be fixed some day. .

Well, the bar itself is not annoying, but the movement of the whole library list and panels when the bar is coming and going. For example, if I am about to delete mytags for a selected group of books, the panel moves at the moment I click and I then delete wrong tag without knowing it. Finding the books again takes time as the useful tags are gone

I am not sure what is the official term for this problem although I assume everyone knows it. I think now it is good time to discuss about this when the L9 smoke is settling and the Covid alleviated Christmas frenzy has not started yet. I mean the orange/yellow line in the picture saying "Updating library catalog, list may be incomplete". It appears
