Thanks for responding Graham. Sorry for taking a while to get back to you, but no I do not see them anywhere. Example: Jn 1:1, right click on "word," choose lemma " logos ," add note (anchored to lemma). My note does not show up in BDAG, NA28, Bible Word Study or anywhere else that I could find. Now if I add a note to a "headword" in BDAG, it will show

With 8.7, you can now add a note to a lemma in the context menu. But I don't see what that does. The note does not appear to show up in BWS or in a lexicon. Perhaps this is still being worked on?
So how much of the "awesome potential of Logos" was showable using the free " basic program" with no addons? [[Silver goes for $999.99]]
There is plenty to show a new person with Logos Basic. Of course, I encourage them to eventually add to that, but the point is for them just to get their feet wet and see how much

Hey brother Apostolic! You might want to take advantage of Master Journal Bundle 4.1 while it's on Pre-Pub. https://www.logos.com/product/154052/master-journal-bundle-41 I am also looking at eventually getting the Galaxie set (includes JETS): https://www.logos.com/product/156048/galaxies-theological-journal-library-vols-1-20 You can get all but the

Slightly off topic, but I just wanted to respond to those of you who have had a hard time getting others to use Logos. I had the same frustration for a while, evangelizing Logos to everyone I know, but I was persistent and am having pretty good results now. My dad bought his very first laptop and is learning to use a computer just so that he can use

  • Bug: Local links no longer work in the new notes :(

Hi. Local links that I have made in the previous notes system no longer work in the new notes. By local, I mean links to files & folders on my hard drive. eg: file:\\wdmycloudex2\Bible Study\Psalms (my NAS) or: file:///C:\Users\Willy\Documents (my actual HDD) They continue to work in the old notes but not in the new system. And it doesn't matter

  • Re: Instalação

Well, it turned out that it was a problem with Windows update. One of the updates had failed even though Windows was saying everything was up to date. I was never able to get the update to work and ended up reinstalling Windows 10 from scratch. Then Logos 8 installed without any problems and now everything works fine. Thanks for the response.

I am having this same exact problem. Windows says it is fully updated, Logos says it is not and simply refuses to install. Windows 10 Pro Core i5-6300 8GB RAM Please help.
If your update channel is set to a channel name that doesn't exist (like "manual"), then you won't ever get any application updates
Is this setting specific to each installation? Or would it block them all from receiving updates? I do want to receive updates in my Logos 8 installation.

Jonathan, I made a quick guide in the other thread of what worked for me from all the info that Mick and the others provided. You can see it here.

Thanks Mick. I finally got it to work. In case anyone else is interested, here is a step by step guide of what worked for me: How to run Verbum 7 alongside Logos 8: A Step-by-Step Guide This could also be used in reverse (Logos 7 & Verbum 8). 1. Download Verbum 7 (or Logos 7) here. 2. Run the installer and choose a new location. 3. Uncheck "Automatically

Ok, so I guess you did say it, but I didn't hear it. Sorry. Let me see if I'm understanding correctly: 1. When you install 7 anew, you get whatever resources you currently own but it will not update to version 8 with auto update off. 2. There is no way after this initial point to download "resources only" without getting engine 8 also. 3. If you have

Respectfully, If you had I wouldn't be asking the question. I did read the entire post before asking. So here it is again. How can we run any version of 7 (whether Logos or Verbum), download all our resources and yet not have it automatically update to version 8? I have not seen that question answered anywhere. Thanks again.
You can run Logos 7 and Verbum 8 (or vice versa). It’s twice the disk space, of course.
Can someone please share exactly how to do this? I mean, can I still get all of my resources but have it not automatically update to version 8? Thanks a bunch if someone has this answer!

Other than, "This is not recommended," does anyone know the steps to downgrade?
I am curious about this as well. It has been asked several times on the forum but I haven't seen a definite answer on exactly how to do this. Is
